If it isnt the same, I wouldnt be a happy camper.
JDHarding
Lucid Blue Gumball has this problem too. Smells like a mix of burnt BBQ and Soy sauce sometimes. Usually takes anywhere from 24 hours to.. well one person said he spent 3 weeks acclimating his.. till it doesn't smell like soy sauce, but you know it's acclimating correctly when it starts to smell sweet, or tangy-sweet. I got some of the BGB myself that stunk, acclimated it 3 or 4 days, and now it's a sweet smelling soy sauce. Smokes a lot better than it smells.Raspberry and BGB are almost the same product, flavor and smell-wise.

If it isnt the same, I wouldnt be a happy camper.i`m not saying they should change the recipe, i could care less, i`ll just smoke the vastly superior nakhla. and the fact the fact that i can`t get it to smoke "right" has nothing to do with my skils, its because tangiers is just way too dependant on climate (i don`t exactly live near san diego). just look at all the daily threads about tangiers, how come there are so many people posting about problems with it? i highly doubt that all those people are doing something wrong. mattarios2
I for sure know I did everything properly, and the only flavors to work for me were k-peach and melon blend, everything else wouldn't acclimate, even after 4 weeks.
redjako
Meh, after watching some video's and adding coals slowly but surely I can get it to taste wonderful, but zero large Clouds (as compared to other shi sha's).I'm going to try horchata, and maybe one more flavor then call it quits honestly.I'm a fan of flavor And clouds, and if I can only get one, then I'll just move on to different shisha./
