MrMoodz Posted March 2, 2009 Share Posted March 2, 2009 To those who have used the mini phunnel, do they appear to be almost the same size as the small phunnel? The few difference that I have noticed thus far are the circumference on the mini is slightly smaller than the small, the phunnel hole in the mini almost sits almost flush with the rim of the bowl, and the mini's bowl depth is deeper than the small. Maybe the small phunnel I bought last year was made smaller? Have any of you made this observation? I haven't had a chance to post pics yet but I will. Also, with as much shisha that it takes to fill the mini above the phunnel hole, there's not much difference between how much my small and mini can hold. My other "small", however, is right in between my smaller small and a medium....if that's not confusing.I, too, have noticed the reduced diameter, but increased depth, kinda the opposite of what you would want in a bowl. newjacksm Posted March 2, 2009 Share Posted March 2, 2009 (edited) I have 2 smalls Small(A) my first small phunnel was perfect Small( B ) I got was about a 1/4inch smaller in circumference and a lot thicker around the edges so right there I am loosing some area to put shisha in. My Mini Is I would say 1/8th of an inch smaller then Small( B ) and a bit shallower. I still go back to my first small for the better smokes. He said his mini was not much bigger in diameter than a 33mm Three Kings. So I'm not sure if I am confused about the bowls we're talking about here but I think so. The mini takes just a tiny bit less shisha then the small.The 3 phunnels. Granted, the shisha in the chief is going to be a bit above the holes, but I suspect it holds less by volume than my mini. I had a small for a long long time, and my mini is in fact tiny compared to my small. Just like IV said they are all handmade so sizes will fluctuate.
