I have some AF Mango in a 50g box that leaked.. it doesn't really smell like much.

Maybe you could just leave everything unopened and try and get a replacement for each sad.gif

the grape DOES smell like ketchup but tastes like a fuckload of grape. as for the af instead of nak call them up

well, as for the grape, I took it out of the box and spread it on some foil, and stirred it up alot. its been sitting out for a little bit and the funky smell is starting to subside a little...i hope its gonna be ok!

im not even gonna bother calling them tho about the wrong mango, as its only a 50g and i hate to complain. ohhhh well....and ive heard so many nice things about the nakhla one sad.gif

To everybody that says "their" AF Grape smells like ketchup: I have yet to smell AF Grape that doesn't smell like ketchup. If it doesn't smell like ketchup, there is something wrong.

The AF Grape issue reminds me of those optical illusions:

i think the thing about the "ketchup" smell is mostly when you first open the package. that first whiff was...ugh! im also basing my expectations on how the only other grape ive ever bought smelled...which was al waha, and that had a very distinct grape smell (the flavor tho...not so much).

also, i guess its less of a ketchupy scent and more of a sour, rotting scent. you just hear it described as "ketchup" frequently on here that as soon as you smell it and its a bit funky, you're going to automatically assume "ketchup"! its not going to stop me from smoking it tho! alot of times shishas smell and taste nothing alike.

As far as the ketchup thing goes, my Nakhla Mizo Grape smelled like kind of like ketchup to me but smokes like a greek god.

I think the smell is just one thing and the taste is something completely different.

Good luck! smile.gif

I had a 50g of AF mango and it was alright. Too much like an unripe slightly floral mango but I have yet to hear of an amazingly spot on ripe mango flavor...Eric where's Tangiers Mango lol?

Nakhla's Mango is the best IMO. Tastes the most like natural mango.

As for the Grape..you guys must be getting seriously unlucky. I have yet to smoke a bad batch.

Yeah, that was my main reply to this thread... haha. I'm starting to think that maybe there's something ketchup-like about grape that mainly people who regularly eat ketchup pick up on. Myself, I very rarely have ketchup on anything and I always love AF grape.

As to the mango... meh, if it's 50g who cares really? Both are decent flavors, and pretty far from one another taste and feel wise.

if you ordered nakhla mango than call them if you got the wrong thing. If they are a reputable vendor they will be happy to take care of the slip up as these days customer service is what makes or breaks a company. As for the AF grape. I have noticed that recently AF grape tends to have an awful odor to it. I know the feeling of when you open the jar and your first reaction is gagging lol. None the less it smokes fine as I have smoked it when the smell was very pungent and overpowering....tasted the same that it has for years.

I am starting to think the same thing, I bought AF grape and Nakhla Mizo grape (which I've never heard people say smells like ketchup) and both had unbearable ketchup smell.

Anyways I would definately tell them they sent you the wrong flavor, I've never dealt with this vendor but if their customer service is even decent it is not unlikely they will send you the correct flavor free of charge (and let you keep the wrong one, especially since we are only talking 50g)
