Matt-641
The hose from my old hookah was rusting, so I replaced it.as of now, it is still a 10ft long hose (I can be across the room and still smoke the hookah lol). But I plan to cut it down to about 6-7ft. It's not bad for $5 and about 5 min to make.

Bulldog_916
nice, one of my hoses is a plastic one, nothing more washable than that! Good job.
inino
nice job. I do that with all my hoses after they fall apart. only thing i can suggest is make sure they are dry before you put them up for the night. chance of them molding.
qazxcv
I did the same thing but even after a few sessions, a good washing with lemon juice and water, it still has a vinyl taste in mine.

Matt-641
Thanks for the comments.Eventually I am going to get a Nammor or Razan, but right now they are just too expensive to spend on one hose imo.
OneGreenMonstah
looks good... i've actually cut off the mouthpiece and female piece of an old hose of mine and am planning on getting some clear tubing much like you did... did you glue the end pieces to the tubing or just get tubing that fit real well? ...also when i cut the hose from the mouthpiece/female piece it was really gluey and dirty looking... how did you fix this problem if you had it? ...it looks like some sort of tape over it or something? ...granted my first hose was over 2 years ago and probably the cheapest hose you can buy... only lasted for about a month or so... thanks let me knw what your thinking

The one piece of tubing I used is actually a tad too big, so I just got some TP (could also use paper towel) and wrapped it around the ends. Fits really good actually.-You will need to clean the ends off after you cut off the old hose, but mine weren't that bad. (soap and water, then rinse and dry did the trick)-As of now, there is a little tape on the female end, just because that end is smaller in diameter than the mouthpiece(the tubing slipped off the first time I used it), but I'll probably wind up glueing that down. For now, it works though.
