JDHarding
Just curious if anyone uses the ice chamber on a KM Ice, or still puts ice in the base? I would think ice in the chamber would melt pretty fast.
Zinite
It melts within an hour or so. I usually put ice in both.
Codename067
The bigger your ice cubes, the longer they will last. 1hr is a good estimate. And I never put ice in the chamber. Completely worthless in my opinion. Ice in base does the best job if you insist on using ice.
SmokinMoose
I put ICE everywhere. And I smoke in an ICE box.I like my smoke to be cool.
mattarios2
the warmer the smoke (to an extent) the better the taste, no ice FTW

Inhaling warmer smoke or cooler smoke.
erufiku
I used it a couple of times when I first got my KM Ice... never noticed a difference (not exactly hot weather in Montreal recently) but I guess it'd help if you lived in Cali and smoked out in the sunshine

Inhaling warmer smoke or cooler smoke.Warmer smoke filters out more particle matter and junk = more flavor. Colder smoke filters out less junk = less flavor.Try warm water and get back to me. Codename067
[I] Only use Ice in REALLY warm/hot days. I can't enjoy my sessions when my smoke is warm.

I like my water a little warmer than room temp, smoke isn't warm at all. But if it is hot out then i'll use ice in the bucket to keep the pipe from getting hot, but i still won't put ice in the base. delSol_si
I don't use the ice chamber. I used to put ice in the vase. When I first got the hookah, I put ice in there a few times, then got too lazy. I thought it really did make a difference (the ice chamber), but not worth the extra hassel.
inino
if you want your ice to last. fill the ice chamber with water and freeze your whole stem. its awesome cold smoke for about 20 minutes then it starts to warm up.
