Km Ice.. Using The Ice Chamber?

Just curious if anyone uses the ice chamber on a KM Ice, or still puts ice in the base? I would think ice in the chamber would melt pretty fast.

The bigger your ice cubes, the longer they will last. 1hr is a good estimate.

And I never put ice in the chamber. Completely worthless in my opinion. Ice in base does the best job if you insist on using ice.

And I smoke in an ICE box.

I like my smoke to be cool.

I dunno about that one, methinks this is just a matter of preference. Inhaling warmer smoke or cooler smoke.

I used it a couple of times when I first got my KM Ice... never noticed a difference (not exactly hot weather in Montreal recently) but I guess it'd help if you lived in Cali and smoked out in the sunshine

Warmer smoke filters out more particle matter and junk = more flavor. Colder smoke filters out less junk = less flavor.

i never use use. can stress the glass and when using nice glass its too much of a risk.

exactly. I only use the ice bucket or ice in the vase when I need to keep the pipe from getting hot. I like my water a little warmer than room temp, smoke isn't warm at all. But if it is hot out then i'll use ice in the bucket to keep the pipe from getting hot, but i still won't put ice in the base.

I don't use the ice chamber. I used to put ice in the vase. When I first got the hookah, I put ice in there a few times, then got too lazy. I thought it really did make a difference (the ice chamber), but not worth the extra hassel.

if you want your ice to last. fill the ice chamber with water and freeze your whole stem. its awesome cold smoke for about 20 minutes then it starts to warm up.
