Soup
After checking out "The Bleeding Edge" I thought that it might be interesting to see if anyone else is in a band. Please state you band name and genre. If you want to add anything else (pics, websites, ect.) feel free to. I, for one, am. We are called "Homosapien Shuffle" and we play a mix of punk, grunge, and rock. There are three of us in it... Jeff = guitar and vocals Stef = drums Me = bass We are going to be getting some recording done in the near to late future, so plase stay tuned for mp3's. Plus, we will be playing a gig on April 4th at The roxy on Broadway in Saskatoon. If you are in town, come check us out. (PLUG) and, yes, those pictures do show our personalities and quite well, I must add.
Sonthert
I won't be there...the Canadian authorities won't allow me to cross over any more. Good luck with your gig. I have no musical ability whatsoever, so joining a band would be like Charles Manson joining Big Brothers. Well, something like that.

Soup
The vast majority of our songs are serious songs. We do have two joke songs, "Seamonkey Girl" and "Chickens in the Night". We can play "Seamonkey Girl", but "Chickens in the Night" was just too long to bother to remember. I think it came out to about 12 minutes long. Karbon
I was in a band for awhile, but the lead singer thought Led Zeppelin had no talent. . . .that was it for me, kiss the bass players ass goodbye.
Sonthert
Led Zeppeling had no talent? Led Zeppeling had no talent? 11 albums and they had no talent? The single most played song in the world is probably Stairway. (By any yutz with a guitar bought at a pawn shop). That's like saying Floyd or Tull had no talent. Soup
W00Tz!!1 The show went wonderfully. The only thing is that at the beginning there were like only 30 people there. About halfway through the place livened up. We got many positive comments and even one guy, who works at the local music store, asked us if we ever thought of recording. So, in a bit, we're gonna get some recording done. Probably gonna start at the end of April cause my drummer is going to Italy for 10 days in about a week. My uncle took some pictures so I'll try and get them up at some point.

Brocktologist
good to see some fellow musicians around...I dabble in a little bit of everything I guess you could say. I play drums for a band called Spontu Scalem, DJ for a hip hop act called Art Of Covenant as well as solo, and produce tracks for a number of artists, as well as myself. Its hard to describe these things so I'll just make a handy little list...Spontu Scalem - One large clusterf**k of electronic, rock, jazz, reggae, funk, drumnbass, noise, etc. Basically just avant-garde. We've been playing as a group for a little over a year now, recorded a ep disc (pictured below) and plan on touring starting in the summer. I havent had much time to update the website in a long time so your best bet would be to check out the myspace profile.http://www.myspace.com/spontuscalemhttp://www.spontuscalem.comArt Of Covenant - These guys have been a group way longer than I've been involved with them, but they've been friends for a long time. Just your typical underground intelligent hip hop. I just recently started working with these guys and I'm trying to bring my jazzy flavor of production and quick hands on the turntables to the table. So far things are going pretty good.http://www.myspace.com/artofcovenantBrocktologist - Anything I do under this name is just my solo stuff. Mostly a mix of jazzy hip drumnbass, trip hoppy type stuff. I'm planning on releasing a solo disc with some national collaborations by the end of this year. I also DJ Drum and Bass, House, and the occasional Reggaeton / Dancehall / Reggae set as a solo artist as well.http://www.brocktologist.comhttp://www.myspace.com/brocktologist
