Tangiers Lucid Tickles The Throat?

Smokin some Tangiers lucid blue gumball, and noticing I'm gettin a tickle in my throat. I've heard regular Tangiers does this, but has anyone had lucid do this to them before?

I might just be using too much heat, not sure, but the clouds really aren't big enough to be 'too much heat'. And it's not harsh, just a throat tickle.

Did u acclimate it? and how did you pack it? If you fluffed it in or sprinkled it can get that way...

Oh.. yeah.. I sprinkled it in. It's a phunnel, though, so I didn't think that rule applied to phunnels.

Also, it seems I did have too much coal on there. I put a wind cover on it and it smoked like crazy and was harsh, so 2 coals and it's been much better. Though still a tingle in my throat.

And I acclimated this one for a week 'cause when it arrived it smelt like BBQ sauce. Still smells like BBQ sauce, but tastes worlds better.

Yeah i have had this problem a lot with Lucid. It's pretty picky with heat.

if there's a tickle in your throat, back off the heat just a little. i get it with lucid as well...usually happens when i have too much heat. Edited March 5, 2009 by arcane

Do what arcane said, Lucid only gives me problems if I get it too hot.

Also, I'm pretty sure Hi-C makes everything taste better... try that too... everyone, not just you.
