Old Hookah-anyone Seen Anything Like This?

Recommended Posts

I have an old pipe my dad got in Germany during the war. It has "Berlin" engraved on one side, "1905-07" on another side, and a trademark or something like that( 4-A-CP with a crown) on another side. Does anyone have a clue about this thing?
Thanks for any responses! Edited by seigol47

Not real sure on it, but the markings with the crown over it looks like the unit markings from a British military unit. That may not be German, it may be Brittish.

I think that that may be the markings of the 4th Artillery command post. Not for sure, just going off my general knowledge of WWII and unit insignia.

Sup,

I don't know what the hell that thing is...but doing some research ive found a couple things. First...the time 1905-07 was before World War 1. So either A. that thing originated in Berlin...or B. it came to Germany in that time by some other means whether it was war or something else. Now in 1905 France declared war on Germany...then in 06, Britain declared war on Germany...that leads me to believe it is either French or British. Anyways thats all I found...nothing about that "pipe" or the engravings besides the events around Germany in those years.

Thanks for all the responses!!!!!
I'm starting to think it might be from a bagpipe. I guess because it had a ridged bone thing near the top (for tobacco - like a stash bowl, I thought), I just presumed it was a pipe. There is no smell or resin marks anywhere on the item.
