Tyler
So I'm planning on buying a Mya QT, Royal Blue, as my 2nd hookah and I wanted to pimp it a bit. I planned on getting my first phunnel but don't know how to go about getting the mod that is "necessary" for it to work...I still don't understand how phunnels work if the coal heats the shisha but the air doesn't pull down over the shisha? Also, what kind of hose would you reccomend? And possibly the most important question, what should I take the virginity with? I'm thinkin Tangier's Orange Soda? joytron
id suggest not tangiers, only because you have never used a phunnel before.Id get a razan/nammor/grand hosemaybe another adaptor if you like two hosers
indian_villager
You dont need a mod for the phunnel for it to work. you can get the mod from mnhookahs.com. As far as the other accessories go I'd say a wide hose with a phunnel and you are set.
Hobbs
Here's a list of the loot I've hooked my little Mya up with.Grand Hose, Phunnel, and a windcover.
An1m
I wouldn't get a nammor / razan because they tend to fall apart. If you can get a good Khalil Mamoon hose I'd say go for that.As for phunnel bowls the air does pass under over the shisha and down the center of the bowl. The only difference between a phunnel bowl and any other traditional clay bowl is that they have multiple, smaller holes and the phunnel has one big hole in the middle. engineonmute
I have a nammor with my qt and it works great. just take care of your hose and it should be fine. and if you do get a qt i suggest getting a bigger ash tray thing. mine was too small... Tyler
I usually smoke Tangiers out of my egyptian bowl and it works fine, but apparently phunnels are a life changing experience.
