I like my name,  and don't want to change it.  The only mellow drama is coming from certain others who disagree with my presence here.  I respect everyone on this forum,  even the people who want me to leave.  But,  I'm not going to change my name just so that I can hide behind another name.  That's lame!  I've been a member here longer than most people,  with the exception of MR Bubble.  He was here before me.  I'm one of the top posters,  I had a GREAT reputation before all the drama started,  and I'm just not willing to abandon my name because of all that.

In all of this, nobody has ever said anything bad about Mushrat, why? He's beyond reproach and I'm inclined to believe Mushy. I respect his opinion and with good reason, he has shown himself to be a true gentleman, hookah smoker par excellence and a great guy. If he has an opinion, I say go along with what he says. We all know people seldom change, it isn't a question of "benefit of the doubt". I have heard all sorts of interesting Mathazar stories, but I think we all need to give him a little room and give him some more time to see how it goes, from what I've heard by way of Bubba and Mushy, the deleting the posts was among the medium offenses committed. Mathazar has contributed alot of great stuff to this forum and I agree with many others and celebrate your return. It is indeed inspiring to be sharing the rarified air with such a pioneer. I disagree with many people on this subject, letting bygones be bygones isn't appropriate. I think a lesser man shouldn't be afforded leniency, I vote for probation, I think we should all agree to forgive the past as long as it isn't repeated. P.S. The bible also advocates stoning people for working on the sabbath and permits selling your daughter into slavery...so do you advocate those too, or do you just believe that some of God's words are irrelevant? Lets move this over to serious discussion!

Hmm... well, I suppose I don't have a whole lot of feelings on this
matter, as I was on a temporary leave of abscence due to personal
circumstances when all this drama went down a while back.

 In any case, what I do remember is that Math was always pretty
good member back when I knew him. Had a lot of good advice for those
new to the hookah and provided us with some quite nice reviews
(although I always thought he was a little biased twords that
HookaH-HookaH stuff ).


 In any case, I don't really have a problem with you coming back
Mathazar, because whats the best and worse that could happen? The best
is that you return to being the man I once knew and bring a lot of good
insight and interesting discussions to the forum. The worst is that you
start flaming people and typing really mean stuff and then a Mod. would
just ban you again.

 So I think its worth giving you a chance really (mind you I don't
call the shots around here) because the worst case scenerio is that you
just get banned for a third and final time and thats the end of it.

 In any case, I spose' I'll be interested to see how this all pans out.
And if you really are back to your old self then I must say... Welcome back Mathazar. It's been a while

Well it seems I am one of the only ones left on here that actually DID go through all that BS...let me tell you it is not the stuff to just let go.  There was TONS of name calling, insults, backstabbing, betrayal and sabotaging (sp?) of this forum that MANY of us were working very hard to build up.  Even to go so far as laughing at members of this forum and leaving to work at ANOTHER competing site and the ONLY SINGLE REASON that you are back Math is because that site FAILED MISERABLY and since you can't be over there ANYMORE you are coming back here because you have NOTHING LEFT, NOT because you really want to be a member of HF.   If .net was strong, you would NEVER come back here becuase you don't care and you left in the first place.This all being said, you were ONCE a great, respected member of this forum who specifically helped me A TON.  I do not welcome you back with open arms because let's be honest, why should I?  what reason do I have?  If you are back here for good, you have to earn my trust and respect back.  I do not hand those things out to jsut anyone.  I gave it to you awhile ago and you threw it in my face.

I came to read about Tangiers, not bullsh*t about the superiority of
rival forums as if we're all in highschool all over again. Not trying
to play the matter down - I know it's an issue and if you want to
discuss it please do, just not in a Tangiers thread. There's a place
for everything and quite honestly, this isn't the place to reaux
chambeaux.

Damn, I thought Mathazar left to help keep him off the hookah for a while for health reasons. How ignorant of me

I just come here and visit everyday to learn new things and to see what is new. I have been here before, during, and after this whole event. Everything wyteboy has said here is exactly how I felt and feel. Math I used to respect you and appreciated your help from time to time, but after this whole thing and seeing what you did, I have lost that respect.Sorry to add to this, just felt like I had to say something.

No problem,  RoDenT,  I respect your opinion.  It's not easy coming back when most everyone hates my guts.  But,  I feel that I once had a place here on the forum,  I had an interesting perspective on some things that did help people out,  and I now feel that I can add to the forum once again.  It may take a LONG time for me to regain people's trust and respect,  but I'm willing to spend the time and effort it takes to achieve that goal.  My main reason for being here is because I enjoy the people on this forum and the subject matter is of great interest to me.  Nowhere else is there a forum like this,  of like-minded people,  who truly love talking about hookah smoking.  I intend to be here on the forum whether people want me here or not.  This is an open forum,  I have a right to express my opinions in this forum,  and if you don't want to see what I have to say then you can simply ignore me.Cheers

I agree, with Mathazar. As I put in this other thread, if someone says something you don't like, ignore them, its hard, its the difference between men and saints, but try it. As I said somewhere else...Mathazar, Useless Dreamer and the other guy...sorry it escapes me...they can come to this forum and log in as JohnX or FredQ whenever they want, why deprive them of their login name? If they want to come here, they will, so lets at least accept them, if not welcome them.
