Help With Old Nakhla+ El Baz

Recommended Posts

So long story short:

I'm home for spring break, found 3 old boxes of like 1kg of Al Fakher and El Baz shisa - the boxes that come with about 10 packs of 50g.

Double Apple and Apple/Strawberry (Nakhla)
Peach and Mixed Fruit (El Baz)

My ex brought these back for me from Cairo way back in late 2006. My question: Do you think they're still smokable? I'm guessing some honey will help?

The packs seeem to be intact with the shisha still in its plastic cover. Any ideas/hints?

I'm shisha starved! (just one day after trying out my new Mya + Nammor hose..... bummer dry.gif )

Thanks happy.gif

It smells ok to me. Nakhla hasn't ever really had a super appealing smell like other brands but it didn't smell rancid at all. Also found 250g of Nakhla Cantaloupe.

Threw all of the following in a tupperware:

2 50g boxes of Nakhla double apple
2 50g boxes of El Baz peach
About 50g of Nakhla cantaloupe (the real juicy part the rest was sort of dry)
About 25g of Rosetta Strawberry
Lots of honey

Mixed it, will let it sit, and then smoke to see what happens smile.gif

I thought it very random that my local smoke shop only carried Rosetta shisha (and only like 2 flavors at that) - probably had like 5 boxes total in the store. Hope to find a better store this time around.

Well if there's no mould and it doesn't smell bad, I'd mix some glycerin+honey and try smoking it.
Next time use lock and lock wink.gif
