Af Double Apple Vs Esk Apple

Recommended Posts

I have only tried double apple from AF, but was wondering is it really different than Esk apple? I read a few threads where users are saying Esk apple is great, but if I already have a good 300g of double apple, is it worth it to get Esk apple?
How would you compare the taste?

In my opinion AF Double Apple is real bad because it has too much anise/licorice taste for me. I prefer absolutely no anise taste, so I love esk. apple. Like jfaltous said, they are totally different. Esk. apple is more of a mellow flavor.

instead of af double apple, af golden bahraini apple would be much more better... but the difference between the DA and the EA has already been posted here..

I love fennel but anise is the closest I can get to it these days. So for me double apple, since it's actually pure anise disguised in an apple tobacco box, is as close as I can get to injecting anise directly into my lungs.

AF makes a licorice flavor. You could give THAT a try instead of sending AF the message that their DA is actually worth smoking tongue.gif.

As for me, Esk. hands down.

Yes I would love to hear a Bahraini Apple vs. Double Apple review. AF Bahraini Apple is my favorite flavor--it makes my mouth water. Haven't tried AF DA yet but it's on my short list.

i've only tried nakhla DA, in terms of flavor they're actually pretty similar but with cloud sizes... i guess you know who wins that round.

Thanks Modisess.

What about in general: Bahraini apple has a good anise bite to it. So for the brands that make both DA and Bahraini Apple--is Bahraini Apple supposed to have SOME anise and DA have MORE anise?

Seems valid to ask as both Nakhla and AF make both "apples."

It is a big toss up for me when it comes to saying which is better AF DA or AF Esk. Apple. If I want a heavier flavor I will smoke AF DA. If I want a more mellow flavor I will smoke AF Esk. Apple. That is also assuming that I want to smoke some apple lol.
