An1m
Why don't we all just send each other checks from now on whenever we need to do business with each other? Sure it would take a few days, but don't you have to wait for paypal to send you a check anyway? Do they actually deposit in your bank accounts? I'd say it's worth a 3 day wait to avoid the added hassle of paypal, and them shutting down your account if you use it "too much" or mention tobacco. tinyj316
What happens if someone's check bounces? (IE, they don't have overdraft protection)I know I won't want to pay for someone else not being able to balance their bank account...
likespaceships
Use moneyorders. That will eliminate the possibility of a bounced check.

erufiku
Well... I'm lazy and it's cold outside so Paypal is a godsend. And it's not that hard. Just don't mention baccy or hookah and you're golden.
An1m
Yeah, money orders seem to be the way to go then.
kryptiq
It's a nice idea but I believe that should be on a case by case basis, to be agreed upon by the buyer/seller. I like paypal because I have been using it for years and I can move money quickly from paypal to my bank account or bank account to a seller. I agree it is silly for them to not allow the sale/payments for Tobacco, but it is really too easy to get around. You just pay for it as a service/other and put your order in the notification email very vaguely "From HF- kryptiq --Nak XOB--T:medPhun" --> Kryptiq from hookahforum.com paying for Nakhla X on the Beach and a Tangiers Medium Phunnel. I've never had an issue with paypal just watch how you word payments.

Just another option I suppose, I have also heard things about paypal shutting down people's accounts if they use it too much. Can anyone confirm this or does anyone know what the limit is? mitchard
I have never heard of an account getting shut off due to over-activity. They are getting their cut of every transaction, so the more the better right?I have had close to 100 transactions (money going in and out) within a one month span and never ran into any problems with them. I am sure there are larger ebay vendors who do much more volume than that.
