MZ's are all-in-all just generic, there's absolutely nothing special about them. KM's are pretty crappy now, but still have higher quality parts then generic rigs and MZ hookah. KM's are getting more expensive and also crappier; people will still buy them though, they have a brand-name (remember we live in America). The older AF rigs are nicer than the newer ones, but the newer ones are still much nicer than anything you will be able to buy anywhere in the US for awhile.Give AFonline a call and maybe they have them in stock? I think they have a phone number.. I really do not see the point in spending 80 bucks on a MZ rig when that 80 bucks can go towards either 2 generic egyptians or a brass Syrian rig.ok not to be an ass but hippo have you smoked an mz? i have one and also a km exotica and frankly my mz feels more sturdy and in my opinion smokes better than my kmYup which is why I try to keep people away from them. You can get a generic hookah on Caravansarai on ebay for 40 bucks and save 30-40 bucks and get the same or better hookah. There's no way an MZ can feel sturdier than a KM, if you cut the hose ports off and set them on a balance scale the KM would fall to the tabletop. There is no difference between MZ's and any other generic hookahs. That is not true. There is a big difference especially in the welds. MZs and KMs have the best welds found on any Egyptian hookah on the market due to the technology they use and the type of welding used. Many other hookah manufacturers can't afford to duplicate it. The machinery and materials are too costly for their level. MZs are a little lighter than KMs they however have a very nice finish and are still very well made. The KMs tend to be more raw and ruff around the edges but are beautiful pipes and of great great great quality compared to other pipes on the market. What's this with the KM quality going down anyway! They are still some of the best pipes on the market and are built like a rock. There is a reason for their reputation which still holds to this day. If anything quality has been improved in order to cater to the demands of the western market. I own some KMs which are 10-15 years old. I can tell you that the newer age KMs are more polished and refined. For example the way the top of the stem is finished off and the bell on the bottom of the down stem. Those are both fairly new inventions which did not exist on the older KMs.You will not be disappointed with either brand. It's just a matter of the look you want. Some generic Egyptians are also very nice and will last you for years to come.
