My girlfriend is in Italy for the semester, and i've had chances to do exactly what you're thinking about doing.

My ex who is very good looking and a real cool girl texted me one night after i had went bowling with her and some mutual friends from work and said "hey noones over you should come by"

I didn't even think about it and said no right away because i love my girl and know it would break her heart. Also I would be furious if she was out hooking up with dudes in Italy, we respect and trust each other a lot and you obviously should probably think if you and your girl do or don't.

Not to rain on your parade but 95% of study-abroads hook up while abroad even when in relationships.

This coming from someone who has studied abroad, many friends studying abroad, and worked for and with study abroad programs and students.

Many people see it as part of the cultural experience. I remember when I studied abroad most people who were hooking up had a bf/gf back home. The funniest thing was when those bf/gf came to visit. The students would stop seeing their study abroad 'hook up' for that week or whatever and then get back to it after they left.

Again, not everyone does it but the great majority of people. What I tell everyone: be very clear with your bf/gf before you go, during your stay, and after. Regardless, most of these relationships are not serious and will not last.

There are some exceptions though, I went and had a gf I met at study abroad for about 2 years after that happy.gif

I don't get why you'd put this in his head? Basically calling his gf a cheater too. Not cool.

oh and good job not sleeping with your ex. only causes drama.

so true. why i dont trust anyone in general and refuse to date. girls are sluts. theyll drop their panties eventually if the dude is hot/rich/persuasive enough. i keep all my girls as fuck-buddies only, that way noone can cheat since nothing is monogomous to start with.

If you have an amazing girl already, why would you even consider hooking up with your ex? This is why girls have a hard time trusting guys. Which, in turn, makes things a whole lot more complicated.

Hey hey hey. This is why I don't trust women. It does go both ways. Hah.

I have a harder time trusting women no more then ever because of my ex. Its hard epically when you still care about them but like crunk said just remind your self THEY ARE YOUR EX FOR A REASON!
