[b]Setup:[/b] 25 Inch Stargate - Custom Diffuser - Three Kings 40mm - Ice in Bottom - Taqseem Bowl with Integrated Cover/Screen


[b]Ma’assel Total Weight:[/b] 250 Gram Jars.


[b]Background:[/b]i hear lots of good about al amir through
the forums and through my friends etc. social smoke has a great deal on
a 3 jar combo, with coal. i ordered 6 jars in total.
guava/whitegrape/cola/mint/strawberry/watermelon


[b]Appearance:[/b] all flavors were an intense shade of red. Fine cut, reminded me of pipe tobbacco.

[b]Smell:[/b]
watermelon - smelled very little like the watermelon smell i was expecting. smelled like some random sweet fruit.

mint - smells like a pack of orbit mint gum. i love it, although its not solely a mint flavor, there is another scent in there.

cola - smelled like coke, except with a herbal undertone, very pleasing. not too strong or nauseating.


[b]Flavor:[/b]
mint- a nice minty flavor, nothing too weak or too strong. left a nice chill feeling to the throat.

watermelon-the flavor was definitely not very strong, although it was detectable. what you could taste tasted great!

cola-not exactly like coke or pepsi etc. more of a spicy/sweet herbal rendition of coke. very enjoyable.


[b]Smoke Density:[/b]
all flavors - EXTREMELY thick cloud like smoke. never harsh, from first hit to the last hit an hour later. good for blowing nice rings, etc.

[b]Buzz:[/b]
all flavors - not much of a buzz, i hadnt smoked in a while so of course i felt a little dizzy at first. went away quick.


[b]Overall Impressions:[/b] i really enjoyed al amir. would
have been better if there was some more flavor to the watermelon,
although the smoke density, smoothness etc were all spectacular.

Ooo, good to hear that your flavors came through.
But yeah, if you're really looking for a thick buzz, you just gotta find the brands whos nicotine content is .5 instead of .05 like Al Amir. Like Tangiers said a while ago the companies that "wash" their ma'assel have lower nicotine levels, because a lot of the nicotine gets washed away in the process.
As for the watermelon, I couldn't agree more. All of their flavors are awesome, but its a matter of finding an Al Amir flavor that has lots of flavor. Their watermelon is one of these examples of not having much.
But AA is still a favorite of mine.
