Mndgame
Hey so I finally decided on my hookah and picked up a KM exotica jr. 33'' from MN hookah earlier today. Anyways just had a few questions. The soldering on both the hose valve and the release valve (? not sure the technical names of these pieces) both have holes in them. Anyone else experience this? When blowing out I can feel air escape out of both and it seems like when I hit the hookah I get a little bit of air. I think I may try to exchange it since this seems like a manufacturer defect to me. Also the stem is a TIGHT fit in the base. It required me to use most of my body weight (170lbs) to push it into the vase, I had to set it on the ground and really lean into it for it to go in at all and this was after lubricating the rubber and glass slightly and I'm not even certain that it would go fully in. This is the first KM I've ever smoked out of but is the tray supposed to sit very loose? It doesn't really attach to the stem just sort of rests on a piece. I know this is somewhat common in a lot of hookahs but the base also isn't level meaning I have a 3 foot tall tower with hot coals sitting on the top that leans slightly to the side, especially on carpet. All in all I'm not impressed at all with the hookah after smoking the first couple bowls, although the hose seems really good. The hookah still hit okay but for what is supposed to be a higher end brand of hookah, seems over rated. Hopefully MN hookah will let me trade it out for a new one or a different model if they are all of this quality. Here is the hookah:http://mnhookahs.com/product_info.php?cPat...235e9fffb7169f5

FactorE
yeah the quality gone down.... my last km purchase which is a pharonie got scratches and soldering on both hose valves as well as misc random lil holes. From afar it looks great but close up it looks cheap. So i stoped buying KMs. Im buying the AF syrian now.

The grommets are usually a very tight fit. Take some fine grit sand paper and sand the grommet down just a little bit. The ash tray is supposed to just sit there. ryno
Znite said it. I have the 40" Exotica and the grommet is a pretty tight fit, just sand it down some and it will fit better. As fort he holes, as others said, JB Weld works great
