Favorite Things To Use As A Base....

My Personal favorites are:
Using one of those small tubs of Crystal Light Pink Lemonaid, adds amazing taste to anything
Any of the Da Vinci syrups, about 3/4 a cup per base.
Blue Poweraid
Lemon Juice
Grape Juice (NOT WINE, it is BAD TO SMOKE ALCOHOL! It can and WILL discenegrate your lungs)

My friend likes to use his left-over coffee in his bases, but I'm not a coffee person.

nothing but water for me. it'd be a nightmare to clean up after some of those sugary bases unless you clean your hookah right after a session...I like to let mine cool down a bit

Blue Poweraid + Blue Mist is actually what made me try that base lol, you'll love it.

As for the alcohol thing, ignore that, my friend (chem major) told me about it, I called him after I read the post, and he said you'd have to do it almost 24/7 for abuot 5 years to see any slight side effect. He understands the chemistry behind it, I do not. Nevertheless, it can happen, just probably won't...I hope lol

I use water 95% of the time, sometimes I toss an altoid or two in there, maybe a few drops of lemon juice or an artificial flavoring.

I do usually drink something similar to what I'm smoking though. Like grape juice with grape shisha.. etc.

I still use water as well. I've tried adding juice but don't notice a big enough difference to justify using the juice for that rather than drinking it.

Although, I do tend to eat a lot of fruit when I smoke fruit-flavored shisha. It's really nice that way.

I use a whole lemon-juice ball when I use a lemon base. It's intense, not for the peolpe who don't LOVE lemon.

I like using water with some extracts, I often will use a few drops of vanilla extract if it feel it will complement the flavor I'm smoking

I've heard tales of milk...

I used milk in one of my hookah a few times. When you use milk with something like strawberry or bannana split, it tastes really good. The banana split actually tastes like a real banana split and the strawberrry is almost like a strawberry milkshake.

Only problem is that you need to be careful of how much milk you put in the base. The milk has a tendency to form big bubbles and clog up your hose.

Also make sure you rinse out your hookah right afterwords if you use milk to get the taste of milk out of the hookah and to prevent mold form forming in the hookah.

The owner of a hookah bar I used to go to would give us some Baily's in the bottom..that with any mint on top is an awesome mix!

sometimes ill put a kool aid flavor or a couple tea bags in the base

they dont make much of a difference as far as flavors go, but they sure do make the vase more scenic

I had wine instead of water once. The flavor was weird it tasted like wine. Didn't like it too much.

if you want a headache you can put strait vodka in it...

ever since then, only water....

it was some kind of orange vodka or something...

or maybe bacardi O. idk, terrible none the less.
