mattarios2
awesome old school taste, add a little glyc and the clouds are amazing. Even w/o glyc they are good, just dont expect insane clouds. Buzz is intense, just as strong as tang, and good flavors. It is 1 of my go to brands.
ryno
Cheap. Easy to Smoke. Good Buzz. Good Flavor. Not much bad you can say about it. Add some honey or glyc and you have some good clouds. I'd have to recommend their Mandarin, Double Apple, and Sweet Melon
cxc5120
Ill have to try some SOON lolHow much honey would you suggest adding? I love clouds lol.. Hate shisha that doesnt produce them.
Sylren
The reason I don't like nakla is because you don't get big clouds, of course I have never tried adding glycerine.....I guess I should try that because right now I have a bunch of Nahkla just sitting here unsmoked... Boricua
I was initiated onto the glorious world of Hookah with Nakhla. So for me it has nostalgia attached to it. Personally, I don't think it's that great compared to other stuff like AF, some SB, etc. But, it's what you get at most hookah cafes in the ME and even some 'traditional' ones in the US. I would say give it a try. Double Apple is what most people get. It does give you a pretty heavy buzz sometimes though.
SilentBob
definitely try mandarin and if you have a sweet tooth, sweet melon. nak cherry is really good too, especially mixed with nak vanilla.

wilarseny
I'm just joining the Nakhla Renaissance, so here's my two cents. I don't think it needs the glycerin anymore. When I first started buying Nakhla, it would come in with only one plastic layer around it, and be incredibly dry -- hence, adding more liquid to get better clouds. The more recent batches I've ordered have been double-wrapped, and some are just as wet as, well, not AF or SB, but still have a good amount of liquid. Just use your judgment, see how it's smoking without glycerin and if it needs it, then the 5:1 ratio glycerin to honey ratio per 250g of shisha works perfectly. Best ones I've had so far: Sheherazade CinnamonNak MintMandarinSweet MelonThe middle-of-the-pack: VanillaEarl GrayCardamomCherryUnless you really love the taste of anise, don't even think about their DA. It's stronger than AF's, which is plenty strong anise taste for me, personally. Also, for me DA has been dyed to shit, while the others I've tried tended to look more natural. I'd heard they use a natural, food-based dye, don't remember what kind, but if that's something you're concerned about then take note.

I have aboout 200g of AF DA that I need to toss because just smelling it makes me want to heave. And I've smoked... kilos of Nakhla DA to date. Sonthert
I've been telling you guys Nahkla rocks for years. Keep buying Tangiers, but buy some Nahkla, too.

SimplexCoda
Nak is prolly the original shisha to be flavored, so its safe to say they know what they are doing. i like their flavors, i got a decent buzz from them, but for some reason it made my lungs hurt like nothing i have ever smoked before. But i have only heard of 1 maybe 2 others that has happened to.
mattarios2
thats really odd SC, cuz it isn't like tang isn't as strong as nak is, and you smoke tang. I say give it another try.
Sonthert
They use different materials in their shisha. It might be that the materials make all the difference. I, personally, wouldn't make shisha like Nahkla does, but its good for its position in the market. Maybe SC is more sensitive to glucose syrup than molasses. Maybe its how he packs the bowls.... ilikemyusername
anyone who says nak doesn't give clouds is doing something wrong. period.sweet melon kicks ass. period.
Majid
Gotta agree with the others here. Sweet Melon. Double Apple and mandarin are excellent, I also like peach, banana, cappucino and some others but that's a matter of taste. Mizo line, a wetter line of Nakhla has been getting great reviews but i haven't had the pleasure to taste those yet.
cxc5120
Thanks for all the replies, I cant wait to make my next purchase of nahkla and some tangiers lucid since i still suck at the OG line lol. But, all of this has been very convincing.
