Scalli, go ahead and jot me down for one. Is there a way he can make one out of sequoia? It would go well with the 20 meter hose... and a 50 gallon drum hookah...

if the price is right i definitely want one.

also since you apparently must buy this hose in bulk, how much would you charge to send out strips of just the hose material, like if we already had handles but wanted a better hose.

Maybe I missed it, but what's the inner diameter on this hose material? Is it the same size or larger than a nammor/razan?

The ID is .500

I ask Larry to look into sequoia. It depends on it's turning qualities. Some stuff splinters and comes apart.

Add me to the list, Scalli. I look forward to replacing my sketchy razan. Thanks!

I will sell replacement hose sections. 6', 8', 10', will probably be the lengths I guess. Right now I have Diane just making 6 foot covers though until I get the first batch in hand and she indicates how much she wants to make them. They will be a little over in actual length to get some ruffle effect.

Those are looking absolutely beautiful. I'd love to be on the list for two, but may end up getting four.

I'm glad you're getting these together Scalli. It's great to see people in the community working to make better equipment for our hookah hobby. I feel much better sending my money to someone like you (and your helpers), who has a real passion for it, rather than some nameless company that doesn't really care.

The sequoia was more of a joke than anything... although a cypress or redwood would be nice

Thanks bro. I'm realy hoping Poncho gets the all glass hookahs going. It's good to see talented people coming up with things like that.
Someone pointed out in an earlier post about there being a lot of graphics designers on the forum that could help with logos and stuff. So there are several talents out there I have great envy for.

We are supposed to have bad weather over the weekend so the family get-together has been postponed to the last weekend in April. I was really looking forward to some R&R but I have to admit there is a lot I need to get done so it's a good thing.
Larry's lathe came in. I ran by there real quick to help him set it up. It's really sweet. I wish I could have stayed a while but too much going on. sad.gif He's really happy about it though and since he doesn't need me in his way that works out best for him I'm busy.

How the hell have I missed this thread?!

Hell's yeah I want one! As for the wood, I love ebony. If I could get a long handle turned out of the wood pictured below in a very traditional design...I would be in love. I would probably have to supply the wood and pay for labor but the hose would have to be long and the handle would have to be long, like 12 inches or so.
