Hello fellow hookah forum members I am pleased to announce I started my own hookah cafe in the back of a friends night club. Being boss is awesome though the first night I didn't pull in much money I can't wait until I have the spot during the week were I will get a majority of my customers as college students and I will finally make money while doing something I enjoy.

If you get time, can you talk about your processes:

How many bowls your packing, coals, what are you doing first, do you have pre-packed bowls (probably not due to flavor selections), hookah's available, what are you charging, etc.

I'm starting to brainstorm a bus. plan for a coffee / hookah lounge (utah's liquor laws are painful to get a license).

I know you meant "business" when you say "bus." But that got me to thinking. How about if you got a party bus and took groups of people out smoking hookahs and take them to neat places to have sort of picnic environments and whatever else? I know here in Texas and most places the customers can drink and smoke (if the limo service allows)
If I lived in a area like that I would look into something like that.
Depending on your other laws you could have a venture that lasted several hours and charge $75 to $100 per head.

Would that be a hoot if somebody pulled this off? smile.gif

nice nice... how big of a space is it? in other words how many hookahs can you have going reasonably? ...worst case is its a start... get some a customer base and make some money and sooner than later you'll end up in your own place back to debt up to your eyes but will be able to turn a profit all over again!
but anyway throw up some pics of the space, tell us a little bit more about it... i've always been interested in how the hookah bars start and this seems like a good one to watch evolve!
