Best Position For Cocos?

I'm not sure if I asked this yet, but where's the best position for coco naras on a small tangiers phunnel? Or any phunnel, really? I got them hangin off the edge on opposite sides of the bowl, but is there a better spot for them?

in the end its really whatever works for you because it depends on your packing technique and tobacco used and hole pattern.

with al fakher, i use three coco's in a triangle formation not hanging off the edge and i have three rings of holes containing 12 holes per ring.

Hmm.. sounds sorta the same as me.. I didn't count how many holes, though. But 3 rings of them around the outside. I got Tang Lucid K-cherry in my phunnel. I went with overpacking the bowl, but not packing it down this time. This time I just let the foil compress the hill of shisha down into the bowl. I got 3 cocos in a triangle now since the other two were gettin small.

for me two coals of the edge and lots of holes. as they shrink i push em in so they arent hangin of the edge but bumped up against it

I use three cocos in the triangle position like said about, but I only do two rows of holes with a tack and the holes are spaced out too much.

3 coals on a med. phunnel, two for egyptians.

They burn pretty damn hot compared to...quicklites, or exotica's, so I hang them off the edge. About a half hour in, they are ~40% smaller, so I move them closer to the middle.

I move my coco's around almost every 4 minutes

But seriously, instead of hanging them off the edge, break em in half and use the halves ON the bowl. It's like wasting half the coal hanging out there in space.
