Stuie
So I haven't ordered from John yet cause I like to spend at least a certain amount from a vendor, to make it worth it. Barnaby
I don't know if I like Mya been printed ALL over that thing.. Maybe if they had a solid color one.. I wish washable hoses were a tad bit better looking.. Don't get me wrong, I dig my Nammor, but it's not as pretty as my Syrian hoses that came with my hookah.. Stuie
From what Cotsi and Mushrat have said, despite it's look this bad boy is not washable.

GreatPigHookah
One thing's for sure, they leave no doubt about who makes them.

Capt. Morgan
The one thing I really hate about Mya hoses is how they put their name all over the damn thing. Edited March 18, 2009 by Capt. Morgan
mushrat
they are washable. People make the mistake of thinkign washable means rustproof. This is not the case. Washable generally means you can actually wash them a few times before they rust, unlike traditional hoses that will rust immediately if you wash them. The Mya's wrap the metal inner coil with plastic to make them last longer. Unliek traditional hoses that are bare metal coils.Ive had soem Mya hoses going on 4 years now. The ones at the lounge last a few months with steady use. If they were truely traditional hoses they wouldn't last a month in a lounge settign before the particles started coming out.You want rustproof, get a nammor or Razan. Good luck keeping them from falling apart.

arhutch
good to know...thanksi have seen this hose in person, it is pretty nice. i think wade has pictures of it posted somewhere on the forum. ports look a little small, so the draw might not be as good as others. mushrat
The really cool thing is you can pull the wooden end off, its grommeted, and hit the extra wide top of the expanded handle part. The hos eitself is extra wide even before it gets to the handle so you can get a pretty monster hit off of it.There were some early issues with the grommet on the wooden handle part but Mya says they have fixed that. We had to wrap a lawer of tape around the wooden part to add just a LITTLE bit to the grommet. They say thats not necessary now.
