Barnaby
I just tried packing some Tangiers in my small phunnel up the the inner hole. I just picked up a little, put it in, and packed it down. Not enough to squeeze any juice at.. But say if it was 1/8 over the rim, it'd pack down to just under the center holes' rim. I went around packing in the next little bit next to the previous until I was done. Previously I had done the, pick up HUGE amount, drop in, take out some so it's like a 1/4 over the rim, put on foil, press it down method.. I don't think I put enough heat on at first, just 2 cocos to start, and no windcover, and it wasn't going great yet. Added windcover, and it started going pretty nicely. Then I'd say, 20 minutes in, which it was smoke pretty great, I added another coco, but cut in halve, so I had 4 small pieces, and no windcover.. SHIT HIT LIKE A CHAMP! Best orange soda session I ever had.. I'm going to experiment with chopping my coco's in half right off the bat, do like 3 halves at first, add 4 after a bit and see if I can get it hitting like that right away.Oh, and I used an oyster fork to poke holes everywhere.. But yes, leaving some space between the foil and tangiers seemed to work great, and if it is consistent, it will be the way I'll do it from here on out. The other methods always seem to make it more of a guessing game..
