But I love your choices thus far, what are your future plans?

I got a red tiger oscar. Suckers grow fast. I have mine in a 55gal by itself. 14" long and 2" wide smile.gif I've had it for over 5 years and is getting old.... really smart fish though. Your oscar's design pattern is exactly like mine with "Jonney Brovo" on the side..lol

my dad used to have a 250g salt water tank. that thing was awesome... only thing was, power went out while we were gone for the weekend and we lost almost 4 grand worth of fish, plants, and coral

thanks for the compliments yall...i got some new fish/terrain so i thought i would throw them up.

edit: my oscar is about 8 inches, hoping for him to max out around 14 inches or less...really dont want him to become huge!

citizen snips unfortunately cant go in with the other fish, as they would eat him..

and yeah thats an old nes that i gutted, use to use it as an aerator but that causes some problems (it floats up sometimes sad.gif )

  • 3 weeks later...
where do you plan on going with it iv? i might be able to help, or theres always myfishtank.net ... one thing to note: if you do a "cycle" with no fish, your fish will have a better chance of living than if you just set it up and put fish in there...though cycles can be a pita.

thanks everyone for compliments, unfortunatly the nes isnt a airerator anymore, i need to get pics of what its doing now...my 110g looks really good, but i want to add some more stuff before i take more pics..

My LFS does have a good stock of that refrigerated bacteria so a cycle should be established quick. I am planning on doing a cycle with fish just because such bacteria is available and I have had great success in the past. (I just plan on using two danio to start the cycle). I am getting an Eheim 2213 off of craigs list for $40 ohmy.gif . I plan on running angels, German Blue Rams, and Some other non agressive fish.
