A friend of mine purchased the Nemesis(got mya hoses) a while back and it smokes very well,  i then bought him a Mya 29" and we both agree that the mya smokes a helluva lot better.  I'm not trying to talk down the Nemesis,  its a great starter hookah and its a great looking hookah, but if you do make another purchase,  i would suggest getting a mya just due to the fact it smokes much better.

Make sure you review the Nemesis, looks like a great pipe!
The nemesis is gorgeous. Their Black Widow hookah is interesting as well (at a height of 11.5"). Does anyone here own one?
I reviewed the widow, the thread can be found here: http://www.hookahforum.com/forum/forum_pos...ts.asp?TID=3935

Here's my review of my friends nemesis.Apperance:  It looks just like the hookah that is on the website except that it didn't come with the metal bowl or the same polished Ash plate(we actually got a pressed steel plate with a few tiny dents in it), regardless Ceramic bowls > metal bowls and the ash plate isn't a big deal.  We tossed the cobra hoses and got some black Mya hoses as well.  We did notice a funky smell coming from the base of the stem and definitaly didnt want to be inhaling that in so we cleaned the whole hookah of course(this should be done regardless when getting a new hookah).  The frosted glass base is very nice and made of good thick glass.  The stem itself is very solid and well chromed and detailed.Smoke:  We opted to go with a mya bowl,  the older ones that have the rounded bowls instead of the boxy looking bowls.  My friend and I are screen users and also used Abu Hitham coals for the smoke.  For the tobacco we used AF Golden Black Grape.  We got everything setup and started smoking. We noticed right off the bat that the hookah is slightly congested and didn't have the same smooth pull that my mya had so we finshed up the grape and made a few modifications.  We ended up actually taking the base of the stem and drillng out 2 xtra holes in the bottom of the stem base and enlarging the holes that were under the hose connectors just enough so that the autosealing ball bearing would still work.  With our modifications the nemesis smoked like a champ and we were pretty satisfied with our results.  The nemesis is a good hookah to have if you are willing to make a few small modifications and upgrades.

hey would you mind guiding me through these mods.. and what tools i would need in order to do them/how risky they are... i am not really a handy man haha. Honestly i wouldve bought a MYa but in MY opinion it didnt look as asthetically nice as i wanted.... my next purchase will either be a Stargate rotator or a MYa from the crystal collection...

Hey Playboy,This is they way me and a friend did it.  The only thing you will need is a drill bt set and a drill.  Before you attempt this,  smoke your hookah and if you are satisfied with the "draw" of the hookah,  then you prolly won't have to mod it.First,  take the stem apart by twisting the main shaft off the base of the stem and also twist the hose connectors off the base as well(watch out for the ball bearing when taking off the hose connectors).  Then unscrew the stem piece that goes into the water.  Second,  secure the base to a vice or something that will hold it steady while you drill.  What you wanna do is drill the hole that the hose connector goes to in increments.  Start with a bit that is roughly the same size as the hole and then move up to the next sized bit until you have the hole size you want.  I can't remember what bit size we ended at,  but it was to the point where we could still get the ball bearing auto-seal to barely work.  Third,  now for the drilling under the base.  there are 2 holes already under the base.  All we did was find a drill bit around the same size and drill 2 more holes in equilateral spacing to the original 2 holes.  So their are 4 holes total under the base.Have Fun mang

Ive checked EVERYWHERE!!! and I cant find them. "Supposedly" hookahcompany.com is getting them in, in a month or two. If its not too much trouble could you ask your friend where he got it and how much for the box?
