Yea im a big football fan. In scotland my team is Glasgow Rangers and down in England I support Newcastle. I do follow a lot of the other matches though. In the priemership top '4' I like arsenal a lot also.

That Newcastle - Arsenal match the other day was good until Arsenal destroyed them. I got to the pub about 20 minutes into the match drinks.gif , was waiting on them to show West Ham v Blackburn. WHU v BB was such a disappointment for me, so many chances blown as it should have been 3-1 to WHU in my opinion.

And did you see or hear about Wayne Rooney? Wouldn't leave the pitch after being red carded and then punched a flag pole on his way off. Seems like he's put a lot of negative attention on himself this season, first his badge-kissing incident and now this. On the other hand, I'm glad to see the those united c*nts in a bind! yahoo.gif

Yea I know, Newcastle got pumped and are in the relegation zone which is never a good sign. West Ham have slipped up a bit recently that draw with West Brom hurt. Its a shame Dean Ashton is injured because he is a good player when he gets a few games under his belt.

Rooney is an idiot, I'm starting to like him less and less. He has drawn a lot of attention to himself for no reason esp his comments on Liverpool. He was also awful that game. Hes too hot headed and immature sometimes he demonstrated this again when the were beaten by Fulham

I got up early over the summer just to watch the UEFA Euro 2008 on TV. I don't have any premium cable channels or anything, so soccer matches on TV are a rarity. I absolutely adore it, though, on those off-chances that I get to see it. Some people say the sport is boring, but ironically it is the only sport I will watch on TV.

Ya my Hammers have been off a bit, it's to be somewhat expected with 4 of our main guys injured though. I love watching Dean Ashton on the pitch, it just seems he's off it more than on in recent times.

I think Rooney got a huge head when they made him captain at 21 years old.

while I don't go out of my way to watch games on TV, I've been watching games when they're on... which is mostly on Telemundo or Univision.... so I don't know what the hell the announcers are saying other than GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

I'm planning on going to a couple Portland Timbers games this season, and might make it up to see a Sounder's game...should be fun.. I've always wanted to be a soccer hooligan

Just wondering if there were any other soccer/football fans out there? I'm a West Ham United and Seattle Sounders FC supporter.

Hardcore supporter here smile.gif

Main team: Puerto Rico Islanders baby!

Also: DC United!

I hate the Sounders - when I used to live in Seattle I would sometimes go to Sounders games just to root against them wink.gif

I'm glad I'll still be able to hate on them when they're in town playing against DC United smile.gif

Man. Utd. Fan here, unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity this year to make a trip to go see a game(money's tight this year). I will more then likely be at next year's World Cup as well smile.gif
