Zinite
I smoke AF cinnamon, pineapple, mint and melon regularly. It's a nice light smoke compared to Tangiers (what I smoke most of the time)

xipander
I bought some AF Golden E. Apple yesterday and smoked some. The cut was kind of crappy, and I didn't get as much smoke from it as I was hoping, but it tasted wondurful.
Arcane
still like my AF grape and mint...gonna break in my Mya QT with Golden Esk. Apple. it's a nice change of pace from tangiers. tangiers has kick your head in flavor. AF is like a kick in the shin, instead...

Giant Ninja Robot
I still smoke it because I have so much in my stash. The only flavor I will continue to pick up is Plum, assuming I don't get burned on a batch in the future.I still want to try chocolate I just can't see myself risking any new tubs when I know I love Nakhla, Tangiers, and some other misc. brands and flavors.edit - and golden esk apple
redjako
Just bought some new Guava, which was my favorite AF flavor, and its not a BAD batch but its definately not a GOOD batch, dissapointing. The last HALF of my tub of my last Watermelon was bad (which is weird, as I stir the crap up). evilded777
I'm new to AF, so I can't compare it to "old" AF. But I like what I have smoked. Sure, the cut is far from great... and NOTHING is like Tangiers; but so far, I really like the cherry, the cinnamon and the cardamom. Hey... my experience is limited, but it beats the snot out of Al Waha (though I still like some of their flavors), and its pretty damn close to Romman for a helluva lot cheaper. Arcane
ok...nm what i said earlier about the cut of af golden esk. apple. this thing is ridiculous...half the tub is sheets of tobacco leaf! wow!

inino
most of the flavors are still good, but the cut makes it an awkward smoke, almost like something is tickling your throat.
Capt. Morgan
Never bought AF but have been given some several times. Most of it I've enjoyed... minus the Double Apple.
SuburbanSmoker
i still smoke it regularly, too cheap for me not too. i have close to 3 kilos of the mint stockpiled (jan of 08) and it does me fine.
antouwan
i still smoke it regularly. i just stocked up on some grape and mint but also have cafe latte, guava, cappuccino, melon and maybe one or two others. the grape i just bought is actually very good which was a plus. i know i'll be smoking more in the future...providing it maintains the little respect it has left
Sonthert
AF is the 2nd best selling hookah tobacco in the world. Lots of people are smoking it.

Sonthert
#1: Nahkla. If I may say so, Their status is well-deserved. Of all the crummy, half-assed tobacco on the market, to have two solid brads like AF and Nahkla being #1 and #2, its gratifying to know all the idiots who say "Just make something cheap and make s much money as you can. The people smoking it don't know the difference" Are wrong. Blam! Proof-positive. Otherwise, the #1 ad #2 brands would be stuff like...fill in the blanks. If you guys say AF is going down in quality, I'll accept that, but think about other brands that actually do suck. AF is worlds better...right? In other news, Sonthert gets offered a job by the Al Fahker network.
modisess
i still do.. most of the time.. af makes 3 of my favorite flavors to smoke, mint, caffe latte, vanilla, might have to throw in bahraini apple into the mix as well... and most likely those 4 flavors are the only flavors ill buy from af ever again, unless af improves drastically on the quality control. ToncSTAR
af watermelon is practically a hit and miss now. the first and second 250's i got were good. 3rd is, uhhh kinda...good lol. ill be able to smoke great for about 10-20 minutes, then it goes down the drain. i still love af golden strawberry, and esk apple. golden grape still smells/tastes like ketchup to me, regular af strawberry is too fruity/sweet for me. golden mellows it out kind of. af cherry tastes good but, not a faveorite of mine. af pineapple taste like an old pineapple. trust me, id know lol. af melon...hmm..i taste very faint bitter melon (not a pun)af orange. if they tried to get a really citrus-y taste, they did it, but it gives me a weird tickleaf jasmine-awesome occasional smokeaf honey-honey, with flowers? af licorice-......not for me.af DA-im one of those guys who hate the fact that it doesnt resemble an apple in any way, shape, or form. af bubble gum-the box is pink, but it kinda tastes minty. not a strong mint..very light. i wish i could say it tasted as good as it smelled.I only started smoking hookah about a year ago. but only tasted af in october of 08'. i cant compare the taste to their old recipe. im satisfied with the good ones ive tried. i still want to try af cinnamon, vanilla, chocolate, cocktail(fruit punch? i hear), cafe latte, and a few other ones.then ill pretty much be set on what flavors to stay away from and which are good. it would be awesome if they made a golden watermelon and an AF Kiwi. WAY under Romman? Even with the $10 price difference? Must say that I do like the Romman I have gotten in the last month much better than what I got when I first started with the hookah about 2 year ago (except the cut, which I think is no where near as good). I wish Al Waha's flavor was a little stronger... because I love Bounty and Bahraini Molasses, but the flavor could use a push.

Plus EVERY company has an occasional bad batch. If you are referrign to the whole Grape thing. I've already shown that some people will small the ketchup and some won't, out of the same tub. So its a perception issue, not a manufacturing issue.
