I figured I'd introduce myself here before I jump into the srs discussion thread or anything. My name is Shawn, I'm nineteen and currently reside in Aurora, CO. Hookah is a fairly recent love of mine, so I don't know much about it. I've got a small group of friends that meets at my house every so often to kick back and knock out some bowls of shisha, usually AF brand. The buddy of mine that owns the hookah and usually sets it up could use a few pointers from this site, I'll admit. Too often I walk away from the pipe with headaches and what-not, which I now see is probably as a result of the coal being put on too early Anyway, look forward to reading more from all of you and discussing this wonderful passtime with you.

On a side note: Did I mispell shisha, or is the word actually not recognized on this forum?

There's a bunch of different names to call shisha by, it always underlines it red .. maybe it's just an Americanized word. Anyhow, welcome to the forums man.

Shisha is what the tobacco is called here in the states, shisha is actually a name for the pipe though, so we kinda bastardized it. However it it still recognized here for what it is.
