Tangiers Harshness

Recommended Posts

I already know Tangiers OG has it's own little harshness that'll tickle the throat, but it seemed to only last me 2 pulls. I pulled 2 times, got the tickle, then afterward I was fine. Is this the normal reaction to Tangiers?

Btw, k-peach is fuckin awesome. laugh.gif

I actually just smoked my first bowl of tangiers last night... lucid watermelon and original blue gumball... and lets just say WOW... i got my order from HookahJohn who i must say is amazing... extremely fast shipping, well packaged, extremely fast responding to any questions or concerns or issues, even threw in a free sample of some tangiers pear which i have yet to try.
...However when i was smoking the tangiers original last night it was extremely hot... i'm assuming it was my set up... clay egyptian bowl and a 40mm gold coal? the lucid smoked just fine though
...I do have an order from HC coming in today though with a small and medium funnel bowl, CH coals, and 2x 250gram starbuzz

anyways the point is i got a harshness for awhile during the blue gum ball using a clay egyptian bowl, 40mm gold coal, tin foil and a brand new razan sultan hose from hookahjohn as well

what do you think of this.... i'm guessing its the coal because i lit a 33mm gold coal and it wasnt as bad... let me know what you all think

ive never received this harshness from any tangiers ive tried (lucid and noir). although my noir BGB didnt taste good until i was 2 weeks into acclimation and only at the bottom of my tupperware did it start to taste..good lol.

lucid horchata was awesome straight out of the packaging. smelled just like i would suspect it would, packed it in my med phunnel, 3 coco naras on it. smoked awesome for well over an hour smile.gif

I don't know if I've just been lucky or what... but I've had great luck with my Tangiers (Nectarine and Guava... got Apple on deck, and Lucid Apple and Lucid Watermelon waiting in the wings).

3 Cocos? Wow that seems like a lot of heat on a med phunnel. I use 2 cocos split in half; but hey, I'm a noob who probably just has good luck.

Have I read that Lucid does not need as much acclimation?
