chinamon
so, seeing as i rarely smoke at home and almost always travelling with my hookah, i began to wonder how you folks travelled with your hookah and hookah gear?
jschoenith
that's basically how i do it but my hookah comes with a case and i use a backpack to carry my goods around
SuburbanSmoker
I use a soft guitar caser for my hookah stems, then a large plastic container to carry bases hoses, torch, tobacco and coals. i eventually want to get an old suitcase with wheels, get some of that memory material that alot of microphones and such are sotred in, cut it out to match the base and stem and reinforce it. it would be clean/
Arcane
i bought my KM omdah from San Diego, CA to S.Korea. It was in my checked luggage. I wrapped the stem and vase in a package of bubble wrap, then wrapped some jeans around it. That's all. Came in one piece, but I haven't had the chance to smoke out of it yet...so, I can't really say if everything is perfect just yet.

Rani
I have a padded hookah carrying case that I got with my first Sahara. The larger stems will fit in there as well with a little creative packing. I fit everything around the vase and keep a couple cheap wash clothes in there to stuff around for additional padding as well as coming in really handy cleaning up tobacco spills, juices, etc. I have a dozen pipes, so I keep one - a light weight Egyptian from HC in the carrying bag and just grab that when I want to smoke somewhere other than home. That way my treasured more expensive pipes aren't being taken anywhere.'Rani
