Anyone Notice Nakhla Being More Wet?

Recommended Posts

I bought a bunch of bottles of glycerin in anticipation of my 4k of nakhla coming in before the tax increase and to my surprise all of the boxes accept 3 were very wet. Lemon, tropicana, and mandarin were dry, and the rest of them were all wet, no need whatsoever to add glyc.

Now i remember someone (i think it was Eric) saying that nakhla is changing their "juice" they use for the tobacco to make it last longer so it won't dry out, you guys think or actually know this is the case?

Or do you think it is because i ordered from nazarhookah and he mainly sells nak so his inventory for nakhla moves faster?

I'm curious now.

I got a couple boxes of Nakhla from H-S, Cherry and Strawberry, but they weren't very wet. Not Tang wet. Not even AF wet. They weren't dry either, though.

I kinda wish Nakhla didn't wrap the shisha in that plastic stuff AND put it in the foil pouch. That plastic stuff makes it difficult to get the Nakhla into a tub without making a mess. tongue.gif

Yep I've noticed the same thing. Sweet melon, double apple and cinnamon were all pretty wet, while Mint was dry as ever. Mostly the more recent batches have been better for me, haven't even had to add glyc

I'll take it! Wetter Nak just makes one more reason that Nakhla is king up there with Tangiers.

Great news thanks Mattarios. I haven't smoked any of my new stuff other than Mizo which is wet anyway...

And yeah I hate the packaging they give it, wish it was either in a sealed baggie inside the foil bag or something similar. Wax papery stuff ftl.

Def one of the worst things about nak. That and the tree branches they like to mix in with teh shisha, lol.. I got one that was wider than my egyptian bowl the other day.

Yeah the packaging is lame for sure, but i am thinking once all the old stuff is out, the new stuff more or less is going to be plenty wet to the point where we don't need to add glyc.

I don't mind the tree branches, just cut em up and pack it with the tobacco, it increases the buzz and adds air flow, some stems is okay, a shit ton of stems is no good.

BTW I used to hate nakhla tropicana, just tried it again figured id give it one more shot, and shiaaaat, it's a damn good flavor. Don't think anything changed so ... maybe before i was burning it because i never used to chop up my coals until recently and tropicana is one of the driest nakhlas.

I just fired up my first ever bowl of nakhla. Apple. Holy Crap.
It's really tasty, but it's labeled wrong. They should call this stuff " Death By Licorice ".
It was pretty dry, but I've been puffing it for about two hours now in a full QT setup. Coulda built a log cabin outta the stems. I need to check out some more flavours, this stuff's the sex. I may have to break down and get some of the Arabic coffee.

Wow, that is a beautiful kilo of Nakhla. A double apple I got from Nazarhookah a month or two back, was produced in October or November and it was really really wet. A sweet melon I got was a little older production date and it is really dry and almost oily, reminiscent of the old Nakhla.

Either way, both are amazing and Nakhla is king.

It had better be really wet considering the price from wholesalers has gone up. Used to be 8 bucks a 250 at the local spot for DA, now its 10. I'm really happy I got this kilo at 24 bucks. Now I think it's something like 28.

i have noticed for a while a strong difference in many of the basic flavors. such as peach, theres 2 types, the old peach which is wrapped in a clear packing which kind of sucks, and its super dry. and the new peach which is in the silver wrapping and its wet and is sweeter than the old peach. also the double apple i have noticed is sweeter, along with it being wet. it really depends on the box though, like i have 3 boxes of each, and one if dry the one is wet, and the other one is insanely wet. i have noticed alot more flavor changes on many of the flavors besides peach and 2 apples, such as mint, sweet melon, mango, mixed fruit, etc etc. wetter and tastier. naklah is stepping thier game up.

I just opened my kilo of DA 2 nights ago and so you guys know that isn't fluffed up, that's densely packed (in the pic). When I first saw it I assumed it was fluffed for photo purposes

It's a glorious sight to see and smell so much DA in one pretty lil tin
