Hookah cures AIDS too. laugh.gif

Seriously, though, I should try this next time I got a cold or alergies. It's better than taking medicine. It's funner than medicine. Though I do like Nyquil. That stuffs like.. 100 proof or something. tongue.gif

Well I have altered my original recipe of this, but I preface it first by saying:

DON'T SMOKE THIS!

Ny-Mare
Bowl - 1/2 Hydro Herbal Spearmint 1/2 Nakhla Mint Mixed Well
Base - 1/2 Bottle of NyQuil, Filled the rest with "Almost Hot Water"

I slept 12 Hours last time I smoked this when i normally sleep 6.

AF mint is better than a combo of;

Tylenol
Ibuprophen
Mucinex
Benadryl
Sudafed
Dayquil
Theraflu
Thorazine

Don't forget the 'tussin! laugh.gif

'tussin'll cure anything. Got a cut? Pour it on there. tongue.gif Edited by JDHarding

I think its the glycerine...it dries out the sinus cavities.

No offense, but I highly doubt that. Glycerine is used in hand creams, eye drops, and nasal sprays. The whole point of these products is to moisturize. It can also be used when making pies and pizza crust to keep them from getting crispy. Glyceryl trinitrate supposedly can be made from glycerine, nitric acid, and sulfuric acid to be used as a drying agent though. Plus, I would rather my sinuses be running than dried up, that way I can get all that shit out of there. Again, not trying to offend you or anything, merely stating my opinion.

Sorry, but I think you're incorrect which is why I was looking for a deeper explanation from Eric. Rosewater and Glycerin was the old stand by hand cream for about a hundred years until they discovered that humectants like glycerin will draw moisture from wherever it can. If there's plenty of moisture in the air it draws it from out of the air to your skin. If the air is dry, it will draw it form your skin making it even drier. I'm not a chemist, but I remember my grandmother who was from the South swore by the rosewater glycerin hand cream until they moved away from the humidity and discovered it made her skin much drier. So when Eric gets back maybe the master chemist will explain better/further?

Rani I think you may have answered your own question. You said that in a dry climate glycerin will make ur skin dry well if you are inhaling the glycerin and the only moisture is in your nose (your flem etc.) it will "soak" it up and help clear your sinuses. That would also explain why your mouth tends to get dry when you smoke (maybe). However I would be intrigued to hear Eric's explanation.
