Giant Ninja Robot
I know that some people overseas have used MNHookahs.com, they have been discreet in the past when it comes to such orders.Cmon where're the UKers when you need em?You could try checking the UK member location thread and PMing some peeps. Baric
hookahshop.co.uk are good ONLY really for charcoal I find; their prices on tobacco have been ridiculous for a while now and they rarely seem to offer full size packs (instead, things like 80g or 200g) which seems like they're messing with them.In terms of charcoal from there, i've found their golden flash quick light tablets (the ones coated in silver, not the discs) to be good; you will need a stove to light them but they light quickly and evenly and stay lit for around 40 mins. They also give off good heat. The nakhla naturals give off little taste but i've found they take AGES to light and tend to go out easily. As for the charcoal quick light discs (the ones you only need a match to light) i've nott ried any; they recommend the Golden Flash ones but who knows. All are very resonably priced at about £3.99.Three Kings can be found in this country and are quite good (prob the best English quick light disc); they're about £8 at this Church supplies store called F. A. Dumont. As for tobacco, unfortunately your best bet is America, even with shipping costs. hookahshop.co.uk as I have said rips you off, theshishashop.com is an official importer of Al Fakher but retails this at £15.Forgot to add, if you want a new pipe, hookahshop.co.uk aren't that bad; their range of shisha king pipes are good, i feel, and they have KMs if you really want one. Do a little scouting on the website, their pipe special prices appear regularly and can be quite good. Definitely get one of the EX-L rust-proof hoses, they're great.Reason for edit: forgot to add pipe part Edited March 29, 2009 by Baric
bigbarryevans
Thanks for the advice. is it ok to get tobacco from the us?
Baric
QUOTE (bigbarryevans @ Mar 29 2009, 02:18 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Thanks for the advice. is it ok to get tobacco from the us?Relatively; don't go ordering excessive amounts (i wouldnt personally attempt to order 6 or 7 kilos, if your planning to stock up for a long time for instance). I've ordered around 3 250g tangiers, 5 al fakher 250g, two bowls, and a hose before (from MNH) with no problems. So thats 2 kilos of tobacco along with extras which made the box bigger and as far as i could tell customs didnt even look in it. The worst bill i've received from customs was £30 to get in a couple of humidors and over 100 cigars so you can judge from that if you think its worth it. Majid
Not sure about UK itself but www.shisha-net.de is a german site that sells charcoal at excellent prices, some other supplies too. 6 euros/8 dollars for 3 kilos of coco coals is a great price. The tobacco selection is crap though, in my opinion. Shipping from germany should be much cheapier than from the US right?
jhanzair
I think the tobacco in Germany has a lower glycerine content - their laws forbid higher percentages in the tobacco. So you'd probably end up having to add some afterwards. Not that it's a particularly huge problem, just a warning.
sitysmoking
Any UK members ordered here http://www.shishapipe.net/ ? It looks like UK shop, I've tried to contact them with some questions, still haven't got any replies. Is this site alive? What you think, guys?
