So How Much Money Do You Think

Recommended Posts

In 3.5 years time only about 500-600 dollars, a little closer to 5. I did actually calculate it, but had to estimate for some.

The first hookah I got for 30 bucks used and that lasted me 2 years, QT was a gift, KM Amoura was 10 bucks + 2 IKEA tuffets on Craigslist lol, the only pipe I've payed full price for was my KM Zahirah and that was a great deal at 80 bucks...

Most of that cost is attributed to shisha, coals, a hose or two, bowls, and materials to mod stuff out. Not much compared to what some of you nutballs have spent smile.gif

you have spent on your hookah hobby since you started?

Uggg...this is all personal / party use.

Hookah's: $150 (got two for free for birthdays etc, spent money on a mya)

Coals: AHHHHH at least 2-300

Shisha: AHHHHHHHHHHHH at least 3-400.

So roughly 7-900 I would imagine. Lolz. I spend sometimes 50-60 a WEEK on shisha / coals.

Over a grand in the last year or so.

$31,000 for me.

Holy hell, dude. Was that a typo? ohmy.gif

Me, a couple years ago I got into it and bought a couple pipes, boxes of shisha and coals, which I think probably totalled around $300-400. Then I quit for a while, then got back into it in the last few months and spent about $400-500. So about $1k in just 4 or so months of actually smoking. I don't smoke much shisha, but I do buy a lot of pipes, bowls, hoses, and accessories. tongue.gif

Over the past 6 months, having bought 3 pipes, sold 1, and a generous amount of shisha/coals/accessories (phunnels.. hoses) I estimate my deficit to be around $500-$700. The majority of which is in my stockpile, so I don't think I'll be buying anything but the necessities. (Caffe Latte, Kashmir Cherry, Blue Gumball, and Kashmir Peach)

I never put myself in debt over a hobby, so I don't regret any of it - it was all money well spent.

Still a lot less than a $6 pack of cigarettes/day.

lets see ive been smoking hookah for 5 years -1 year that i was hookahless so $150-200 a month so lets just say $175 for good measure. that's $2,100 a year x4 years is 8,400 just for tobacco alone. ive had 5 hookahs at a combined $350ish so that's $8,750 and best guess for hoses bowls windcovers and the such is about $600ish.

so i have probably spent about $9,350 give or take.

heh the $9,350ish I spent on hookah is about half as much as ive spent on cigs in that same time span. plus i havent even added what i spent for cigars or regular pipe tobacco but if i never took up smoking i could have bought a house with all that I have spent altogether. but way I see it with my nerves id rather not own a house and smoke and be free than buy a house and go on a killing spree.

I smoke for YOUR health. lol

700-800 since about July...

All good money spent though. I love every session. smile.gif Not so much the tangiers learning sessions but everything else I've loved. By the time July hits this year that number will go up to about 1,200 or so. I plan on buying at least one new pipe in the next month. haha
