Hookah Hose Holder On Ebay

Recommended Posts

Wow I agree. That's a pretty cool idea. I don't know if I would want one but wow.

Maybe if he put a rubber guard where it holds the hose so It didn't scratch the handle it would be a bit better of an idea.

Neat but overpriced. I bought one of their pickgaurds for one of my guitars along time ago. So I am sure it's sturdy, but that is a bit over priced for what it is.

YUP...it was US biggrin.gif....some of the newbies do not remember us and what we were intending to do but we went with it and do sell these to a few dealers but thought we would try it again...AND it's not as easy as some "scrap metalers'" might think...Aluminum and metal DO corode (spelling) so we have to hand polish them and then clear powder coat them so that you do not taste or put that in your mouth SO...$15.00 is SUPER cheap for one biggrin.gif...

Neat idea. You could pick up a piece of clear or smoked plexiglass at the hardware store where they sell replacement window glass if you wanted to avoid aluminum. A scrollsaw, jigsaw, or handheld coping saw, some sanding/polishing materials and you're ready to go.
Those are probably CNC cut so the production cost may be a bit high. Unless you run off a shitload of parts their cost is higher than you may think.
It does not seem to me to be a cost effective product to make. I could be wrong on that but I don't think so.
Now if you already have a CNC system setup you can always run off parts like these with your drop material.
But you better be making higher demand/ higher priced parts just to offset cost of buying a machine like that.
Good friends that work in fab shops are always an end around though wink.gif

Jeremiah, they sound amazingly made. I usually smoke out of nammors but those look like they won't fit, will they?

I'm pretty sure that I saw these on a website a while back, I never got the point of it though. Instead of just draping your hose on the hose port or something, you buy a piece of metal to do precisely the same thing? Why?

It's designed to hold the handle upright as opposed to draping it. It is a matter of preference. I think they look nice and I'd use it if it was on a hookah. After a few Shiners I never put the hose in the same place twice though ohmy.gif

I understand how it works but I can't fathom why anyone would pay 15 dollars to do something their hookah does by default already. If it's an aesthetic thing then that's understandable but I don't personally see it adding to the looks of a hookah.
