And I just read through the whole document, then used the Search feature on my Mac to go through the whole document.

There is absolutely nothing relating to hookahs in it. Everything else is very explicitly listed, down to "rolling papers".

Some of my boxes of Nakhla have a "tax Class L" marking on them....refer to this page and you'll find....:

.....that's the Tax Class for pipe tobacco...so the taxes went up pretty badly per lb. from around a buck a lb to $2.83/lb. That's means a tax of $6.23 per kilo of shisha.

In the case of my Nakhla...that means more than 25% of the price is tax, since I get 250g boxes for $5. That's going to make a very noticable increase in price.

I made it a point to send a teabag per week to Washington as a symbolic way to express my irritation over this, and will continue to do so unitil the tax is repealed, or somehow they tax teabags out of my pricerange....then I'll send drawings of teabags. Edited April 4, 2009 by mustang_steve

you can get nak for 7.99 still so it is still easily the best bang for your buck shisha. Tang is now 14.95 or so which is still a great price for what you get, layalina (which i agree with scoop is eh) went up a lot.

And HS prices are too high, 10 for nak when other places have it for 7.99/8.99 and 10 for mizo.
