Weavit
So I've been smoking Hookah for a few months now, started when a friend invited me to a local Hookah lounge, I enjoyed it so I became a regular. My friend also bought a Hookah so we do it at his house as well.So after a few months I decided to go ahead and take the leap to see if I like owning a Hookah, I like the thought of it but not sure if I'll like the practice. (usually I only smoke 1-2 twice a week)I stumbled onto Southsmoke.com and they looked ok so I decided to go ahead and buy from there, I picked what I wanted, checked out, and then I read some reviews on the Hookah I had bought (North Smoke brand) and read some bad things so I called and canceled. (Great customer service I might add.) And bought me a differnent one, I got an Acrylic hookah from Mya Saray because with how many animals I own Acrylic's will be safer, and from what I understand Mya is a pretty good brand. I placed my order in the morning and it shipped that day, should be here tomorrow.Anyway, the whole point of this post is are they a pretty good vendor? I spent about $170 and if I enjoy owning my own Hookah I will more then likely be willing to spend more then that on a hookah alone (the $170 I spent is the hookah plus 2 hoses, a box of Jappenese coals, a bunch of Shisha, and a Phunnel bowl.)So rather then having problems later I figured I might as well ask, so from personal experience what vendors do you guys like? I would prefer to stick with ones who ship from around the East coast of the United States.
Victim026
Southsmoke is a reputable company and I've never had any problems with them. Other good vendors are Hookah Company, Gothookahs, MNhookah, Hookah-shisha, and HookahJohn. I wouldn't worry to much about getting another hookah soon, those Mya Acrylics are great hookahs and it should last you for years to come.

And I've seen that both Hookah-shisha and Hookah Company are favorites around here, but I think they both ship out of Cali, I wouldn't mind waiting for awhile, but if it's something like a replacement part or I ran out of coals/shisha I think I'll stick to Southsmoke (next day delivery, only a about a 3 hour drive from them.)And thank you Chinamon, good to be here! mitchard
I have ordered through a bunch of vendors in the past couple years. I used to order pretty exclusively from Hookah-Shisha, until finding this board and learning about some others. Now, I order from Hookah John and Hookah Company frequently. Both have superior customer service, awesome selection, and a VERY quick order process. Both are in SoCal, and I usually get my packages here in Seattle in 2-3 days. I would highly recommend both. I just placed an order with John yesterday, and he was quick to respond about some of the items being out of stock. It was shipped that day, and will be here on Thursday. I plan on making another decent sized order with HC when they get the new stuff online. For East Coast vendors, Nazar Hookah is a safe bet. The selection is quite a bit smaller than the other vendors I have mentioned, but they have great prices on some stuff (NAKHLA!). I have never done and order with them, but hear nothing but excellent words.

likespaceships
I just made an order with them yesterday. They contacted me right away to let me know about a defect in the base on the hookah I was getting.I decided to go ahead and just get a different color instead of the defected one.About 3 hours later I get an email that my order had been shipped. So far I back this vendor. Stuie
Bought a Mya Nou Nou of eBay. Seller claims they got it from them. If so, they got ripped cause the two hose adapters that were suppose to be autoseal weren't and half the size of normal mya adapters...knock off mya adapters....cost me another freaking $18 to get new adapters..... So just a word of warning, I have never dealt with them personally.

I got an Obelisk for $130.00 and they had a deal going on where you got three extra MYA hoses and adapters for $10. The hose ports are knock-offs but they still work good so no biggie. When all was said and done I got a four hose MYA for $140! Pretty good deal. They also ship very fast and discreetly to Canada which is a bonus.
