chromecarz00
hey everyone,I have a rather odd request for those who use Cocos. If you use Cocos and you have a coil burner, could you do me a favor and post a video of the coals warming up on it from full black to ready to smoke? Whenever I tried using these coals I don't think it warmed correctly so I've decided to give it another try. Thanks all!

If you want to go crazy with it you can flip it.
chromecarz00
Yeah, the bottoms of mine lit to about halfway and the top stayed black, then when i flipped the top went completely black and the bottom lit...this was before I used aluminum foil but still from what i've heard it shouldnt have been a problem... Imsomint
I fan them with the lid to my box of hookah junk. Try fanning them while they heat or be patient and let them heat all the way through.
Hippo_Master
Just fan the coals with something... piece of cardboard, top of a plastic bin, garbage can top.
SuburbanSmoker
i just leave em on there on the highest setting. maybe your burner isnt putting out enough heat.

Voski
If it lights all the way though without you flipping it then it is lit. There isn't much more you can do...
clumsygrace
I put the coals on and let them sit till the bottom is lit and the sides are completely lit, and then flip and let them sit for another 4 minutes or so. Then flip once more for good measure.
indian_villager
When they catch fire for the first time flip em. When they catch fire again you are good to go.
