tinerrz
Hi guys,Im a long time shisha smoker but new to the forum.I have been contemplating building a hookah table for a while and this looks amazing - it avoids the problem of water heating that hookah tables are rumoured to have - but it's also kinda out of my price range...so im gunna attempt to build one - im no DIY expert but im not an idiot either. It doesn't have to be as complicated as the one below but has anyone ever made anything similar, have any design plans or advice they would be kind enough to share?http://www.orietals.com/sub-pages/backgammon-chess/cgt5.htmThanks in advance.Steve
SuburbanSmoker
Best advice i could give ya is think simple to start out with, and give your self some room to play around. I know people have posted threads on Tables theyve built, should look around.

inino
a thousand bucks is pretty hefty for a table. especially for something that is more visually pleasing rather than actually functional. unless you play assloads of backgammon i guess.

The bit im struggling with is how to have more than one table top - building the table and pipes SHOULD be the easy bit - runners doesnt seem like it will work and from the pics i cant work out how to do this bit... Im a proffessional gambler so backgammon, poker, chess, go, yahtzee etc are all games i play a lot of but £1000? No chance - i'll make use of the hands and brain god blessed me with The only other design i have seen is this....http://www.ballerhouse.com/2008/04/04/design-your-own-custom-hookah-table/...but that doesnt seem to work so well from what i've heard.I didnt realise there was a DIY section - sorry - will pay more attention in future!
