chromecarz00 Posted April 5, 2009 Share Posted April 5, 2009 Hey all, First off here is the original thread, props to agentscott for the better idea:http://www.hookahforum.com/?showtopic=2894...=40#entry348423A long time ago I had the idea for a dual-filtration hookah, and here is the deisgn that I had;Warning it is not very thought out, it was one of my first times building a hookah, I was low on cash and didnt have much of a plan, and in this pic its missing bowl/grommet/hose:Then agentscott posted his idea, and it revamped my interest in the dual filtration concept with the added benefit of multiple hosed hookahs without the finger deal which I hate as well. Anyway after countless hours of design, planning, buying, cutting, gluing, hating the idea and starting over, etc etc etc etc you get the idea. Here is what I came up with. Warning it isnt perfect, because I think that I tried to cram too much into V1 without having enough materials or the right type of materials to do so. Also I am not happy how some of the features aren't as adjustable as I would like, but here it is anyway.Features/specs:Copper Downstems (I know that some have had problems but in all my others I haven't had any)Dual Filtration (smoke passes through water 2x)LED BasesGlow in the dark support structure (special paint that glows blue instead of the traditional green)"Mad Scientist" Adjustable Wind Cover HolderLazy Susan (rotating hookah)3 Hose capability (shown without hoses)Without furthur ado:And how it hits in its 98% complete stage...Oh I ash coals in a little frying pan I keep next to it.Questions/comments welcome.
