It's beautiful China, congratulations! And nice to see the downstem length issue has been corrected. Great buy and many happy hours of smoking!

very nice!

how is it smoking for you?

i will be smoking it on wednesday.

whats the draw like from what you can tell?

so i lined up three of my hookahs and tested the draw with a red nammor.
the three hookahs i used were a 20" MZ Safari, 30" AF solid and 32" KM pharonie.
they all seemed to draw about the same so i wont be able to give you a definite answer until i get to smoke with it.

WEELLLLLL, I went out to my fav local shop to pick up a nour that I fell in love with and they had sold it sad.gif I was very sad.

That is untill I saw the Al Fakher pipes that they carried and remembered the guy saying he'd sell me the 35 inch model for 100 bucks.

I told him a friend (that's you China) just recently bought one online and he scoffed asking "How much did he pay? Probably about 150 or so... I'll sell it to you for 85 if you show him how little I gave it to you for so you can say "HA!" " What a neat guy.

ANYHOW I ended up getting the same pipe homey, just a few inches taller, the downstem looks fine although shorter than yours so I'll have to wait till I can smoke it 25 more pounds from now to see...

OH I almost forgot. IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!! Online pictures don't do it justice. Looking foward to your review.

I am so about to order one of these. Not sure yet from where. Anyone have any suggestions? I know hookahjohn has them but he can't ship anything until the 17th or something like that. I also know al fahker website has them. Anywhere else anyone would recommend?

Best damn hookahs out there.

Bravo Al Fakher! It takes a real commitment to quality to go against the grain of shlocky crap that's going steadily downhill and bring a truly superior piece of equipment in for people to buy at a fair price. Well played.

Its a pretty damn nice hookah. Despite my lule issues with Al Fakhr, its a gorgeous pipe and pulls well.

In relation to the above poster, it seems a few people on this forum agree alfakheronline.com is actually NOT the best place to order it online.

Use a trusted vendor...like the ones on this thread:

http://www.hookahforum.com/?showtopic=11438

(a lot of people have also had success with alfakheronline, so who knows).

So I have one complaint..I'm wondering if others have had this happen, between the jar and the larger grommet for the stem, the grommet gets INCREDIBLY stuck post-session, to where I'm utilizing intense leverage ON the stem hose-piece...I'm worried about breakage.

Sometimes I'll work on it for an entire four minutes of twisting to get those suckers separated...I'm unsure what to do.

i know it's kind of a thread jack, but you started it.

just get a metal file that has somewhat of a small grade and go to work on the grommet. every so often test it with the base so that it fits rather snugly.

also, on my kms i leave the grommet just a smidge too tight but put water on the grommet so that helps with insertion/extraction.

Thx biggrin.gif

Since it relates to the quality / a semi review / discussion of the AF pipes, which are awesome, I think it isn't the worst, if not Any, thread jack in the world.

That sentence reading it outloud is hilarious...

I'll give that a try, since ALSO, the grommet is..thicker on one side regardless, causing a very slight (but scary for the height of the hookah) tilt when standing.

Its much easier to wet the tip of your finger in sheesha juice and rub it around the gasket. Glycerine has been used in chemistry labs for years as a lubricant.

Nice, will give it a try. Had to dump dish soap in between it last night after thinking I was going to break the stem
