I just bought a standard brown egyptian bowl since my pipes all came with crappy thin short ones (i guess they're mod bowls? i dunno) and love it. It's all I will use for shorter sessions from now on.

If I can't use my phunnel, I'm smokin a short session so I would use my mya acrylic. The mya bowl that came with it kicks ass. One Coco Coal + Windcover = an hour of Solid, Flavorful smoke. ( I dont even have to touch the coal for the entire session)

So it holds 15-20 grams, its Small but wide? Is the bottom hole pattern basically a egyptian?

My next choice would be split between a MYA Bambino bowl and one of the sturdy Egyptian bowls that come with KMs

Yes it's similar to a mod bowl but more round. I usually fit more than 20g in there to be honest, without over packing.

Who picked Skull Bowl?

I put on as a goof, but if someone consistently gets a good smoke out of this PM me, by pure design it makes me think foiling that thing is a nightmare!

I chose the vortex bowl...its close enough to a phunnel and in my opinion better than an egyptian unless I only want to smoke for an hour and not 2-3

Egyptian all the way, nakhla doesn't drip juices ... and it smokes best in an egyptian ... so for me ... Egyptian!
