Strange Bowl I Got The Other Day....

Here's some pics of this odd bowl that I recieved a few days ago.

It's got a bowl like an egyptian, but is shaped like a vertically stretched mod bowl, down to using mod gaskets.

This bowl is also fully glazed on the inside. It smokes well, but I need to ash the gaskets to keep it in place...I may take some sandpaper to the glaze on the gasket area to score teh surface to make this a non-issue in the future.

ts pretty common, its a cast Chinese bowl, you can tell by that white plastery looking clay on the bottom.

AH, it was new to me....I never saw one like it for sale on it's own, so I felt the need to post it up.

I know this will sound retarded, but what is a mod bowl gasket? Or mod bowl for that? I always though when someone said mod bowl they were talking about a phunnel bowl, but I am starting to think otherwise now because I use the same gasket from my regular bowl for my phunnel.

not to further the thread-jack BUT, SOME mod bowl grommets rock, the soft pliable ones are awesome, the ones that are hard plastic don't work for shit...
