How Hard Can It Be?

Recommended Posts

While I think this is a nice idea, I would like to point out that you are actively conspiring to circumvent (break) customs law on a public forum. Records of which could be used against you in court. Given the recent latitude afforded by the "Patriot" Act and a perceived middle eastern connection, it is possible you might be soon checking out the weather in the New and Improved Guantanamo Bay Detainment Resort™.

Also, depending on how the Pirate Bay and related torrent tracker suits resolve, you may be exposing Hookahforum and by extension, Hookah Kings, to legal action.

You might want to move this discussion to "burn after reading" PMs, and close and delete this thread.

Just a heads up for those who are worried about the legality.

Okay then, the UK folks can get those really cheap coconut coals right. Well, we could actually exchange gifts then. We give them what they want and in return we get what we want. Seems legal to me. No money ever exchanges. Gifts aound here are usually a two way street.
They could really cut to the chase. MN could give them hookah goods and get those coals in return and sell them here.

i think the way things are now... the only option is to go 250g at a time

anything over that... and then itll just be down to luck (as to whether the customs officer knows what the hell there looking at)

Write "Fruit Preserves" and it will get thru customs!

Who said you had to order from HJ? I believe i said in my post that you could use nazar or HC which both would yield free shipping to me in the usa, and they both carry AF and Nakhla which i belieive is the two brands u smoke china ... no?

even if the shipping to you is free, i would still be paying the same shipping rate from you sending the package as it would cost for the vendor to send the package. so im not saving any money, ithe parcel would be labelled the same from you as it would from the vendor but it would take a couple more days to get here. so what advantage does this really have for me in canada? nothing really. i can imagine it would work better for our hookah friends overseas though. im not saying this is a bad idea, i think its great that you guys and gals are willing to do this but im just telling you that it wouldnt be much of an advantage in my case.

the coals would be cheap until you factor in the shipping because those boxes are pretty darn heavy. it might be cheaper to just stick with the coconut coals we have here in north america.

i just went to the royal post website and priced out the cost to ship 3kg to canada and the price for international standard shipping (5 days) starts from £49.49 (roughly $72.50 USD). thats one hell of an expensive box of coals!
