Canon
I had a problem a while ago, and i contacted xbox live support because i couldnt renew my membership online on my COMPUTER or on my X box, so i made the mistake of contacting customer support about it thinking they can actually do something to help me. Thank you for your reply, now i have read your entire message, all that i ask is you read mine I am amazed at your ability to not read anything that i have written you, I have found very few people with this talent and you are among one of the few, you should be proud. If you have read this far into my message I bet you probably think that i am upset or pissed off that i have waited almost 24 hours for some useless information. so ill break everything down, i hope you will actually read the letter this time instead of seeing a few key words and copying and pasting off of your automated responses. I ordered my xbox 360 elite from amazon.com on (removed date), i received it on (removed date), i activated my 1 month free trial on (renived date). I am now trying to give myself a 12 month subscription on my xbox 360. I have tried on the console and on the website, so its not and xbox issue, though i will cry the day i have to deal with customer support again, since you obviously care about your customers. when i try on the website (yes i have the website correct, i have my credit card information correct and i do infact have a correct address that works on every website that i know of except xbox.com) i get this (removed) i have also included an attachment incase you cannont click on the link due to your filter at work. Essentially it is the xbox website telling me that the page cannot be displayed. which is something else that i find funny, you cannot go and surf the web on the xbox but when i said "page cannot be displayed" one of the fixes was to send my xbox in to get repaired. Please read this, i mean really read this, i dont like getting blanket responses that do not help me one bit, i DO NOT HAVE AN ORIGINAL XBOX, ive tried to do my CC Information several times now with no success and im tired of customer support (which seems like a waste of money for microsoft) wasting my time. Thank you From: XBOX_.LIVE.NA.00.EN.HAH.MNL.TS.T01.SPT.X2.EM@css.one.microsoft.com To: (removed) CC: Subject: (removed) Date: (removed) Hello, Canon. fcbayern
Man I feel your pain.. I hate contacting tech support for anything.. Most of the time I feel I know more of whats going on than they do..On a side note: is this considered "Serious Discussion?"
annual
I recently tried to call to cancel my subscription that I just signed up for (hadnt been more than 3 minutes) of course sounds like call was in India. I tell her my problem and she's like so unhelpful. I respect companies that can keep their service station in the US and not outsourcing it to 3rd world countries. So yes Xbox I have found as to be the worst of them all. BTW about your issue I like how he introduces himself but gives a cut and paste answer (automated). So your problem is you cant upgrade your account to 12 month?
Hobbs
Microsoft support is hands down bar to none the WORST support I've ever received as well.I called to take my credit card off of my xbox live acct since for whatever reason they set it to automatically renew, and the only way you can avoid that is to buy a game card (which I didn't want) or call their customer service. After talking to a man with a pretty thick Indian accent for about 45 minutes, it all boiled down to me giving up and going out and buying a 1 month card to use so that my credit card to swiped off the billing plan.Least helpful phone call I've ever made in my life. SimplexCoda
Sounds like Microsoft. First they make a product that is supposed to do amazing things, release it 6 months too early, making for all kinds of unresolved issues. Then you buy these products that you just want to do what they say they do. Sometimes your pleasantly surprised about how long something from them works properly. But, there comes a day when you have to talk to their customer support and you find out why they put out products like they do. Because they dont have anyone that knows how to fix the problems with what they have, if they put out products that had gone the time needed to manufacture theres no way anyone there would know what to do with them. It makes me sad that we spend all this money on their products and then when something happens and you need help with it, they wont even do that. Mndgame
Dell customer support is worse, I canceled a $2300 order because of the support I received from them before my product even arrived. Anyways, you should try calling them, I've never had a problem with Microsoft customer support. Even if they don't speak English they are willing to swap your 360 out in light of many of the problems they've had. Also, you should make sure you are selecting Xbox 360 NXE as your product and don't mention the original xbox since you don't have one (?). What happens when you try to renew it on your 360? You get the page cannot be displayed or is that on your computer or both? I mean I speak english and I don't even completely understand whats happening. What trouble shooting have you tried so far? You press submit on the credit card page and it just says page cannot be displayed and that's it? Try using a different browser/clearing cookies etc.. Since your xbox and PC are connected to the same internet connection you could try using a different internet connection or updating elsewhere? You could go to BB or target or order online at newegg and buy a 12 month subscription package (sometimes cheaper).
