skiracerj1
Hey, so yeah I'm new here and relatively new to hookah in general (only been smoking for about 6 months). Anyways Ive been wanting to try some new shisha, and have been reading all the great things people have said about tangiers. The only problem is that with all of the unusual and intriguing flavors and my small college kid budget its making it hard to choose one or two to try. So if any of you have some personal favorites that you've really liked let me know. Thanks!
yashman19
I really liked the blueberry myself, but haven't tried that many of the flavors that he sent me. Only other flavor ive tried thus far besides the blueberry is the juicy pear, which was amazingly accurate, but I got most of the pear flavor on the exhale... HookahDuck
The Kashmir is a really difficult thing to describe. Smells a lot like cedar/saffron. Quite difficult to put your finger on.Kashmir Peach uses the cedar undertones to accent the delicious peach taste. I've found that with many peach tobaccos(even Romman), you get that tight chemical bite from them. Kash. Peach isnt that way at all... much more of a smooth, natural flavor. Its the only ma'assel I've ever given a rating of 10 out 10.
skiracerj1
Hmmm, sounds interesting to say the least. A few other flavors I'm curious about are passion fruit and melon blend. Anyone ever try these, maybe I'm just retarded but I couldnt find reviews of those flavors. Thanks for all the help btw guys!

HookahEnthusiast
The tangiers flavors i was wondering about are marigold and red tea..both sound incredibly interesting and unique...any feedback on these? maybe eric could give me some insight on them as well
Sonthert
Tangiers, manufacturer of Tangiers Tobacco: I only make flavors that I think people will like. They have been tested, retested and tested some more to see if a wide cross-section of people like them. I will not sell a flavor to simply sell something.Tangiers, aka, Eric Hofmann: Kashmir Peach, Red Tea, Mint are my favorites. Raspberry is good and watermelon, too. Try some and find out what you like. Start with something basic...the longer the name, the less basic it is. Try flavor #2-apple or #3 strawberry and go from there.Eric
Sonthert
P.S. H.S. I respect both of those flavors as individuals. Marigold is a completely unique floral flavor, nobody has reviewed it or even commented that it exists. I like red tea very much. Some other floral flavors I have tried to make into hookah flavors:GardeniaPassionflowerGeraniumVioletViolet I am still working on.
JByer323
What's Red Tea like, Eric?
Sonthert
Its similar to purple tea, but without the blue.HarharRed tea is a common black tea flavor.
Buford
Is the "red tea" flavor based on rooibos or actual tea? Rooibos is often called "red tea" although it isn't a true tea, and it tastes a bit different.
Sonthert
Actually they call it "black tea". I call it red tea, because blackthorn is already "black".
Buford
So it's a true tea flavor, then? Just checking since I don't really like rooibos but I do like real tea. Rooibos is African bush "tea", and it is often marketed as "red tea".However, what us westerners often call black tea (fermented true tea) is called red tea by the Chinese. Hence the confusion.I just ordered some Tangiers blueberry today, now I kind of wish I had added red tea to that order.
Buford
Crap, can't edit posts - I also meant to ask what exactly black thorn is.
mushrat
Blackthorn is Sloe berry. The same stuff the use for sloe gin. I really enjoyed the Blackthorn myself.
jmexx
Hey Tang! I've got around to getting a sample of your tobacco, courtesy of mushrat. I'm actually smoking my first bowl as we speak and all I can say is... OUF my head hurts... It's so good though! I must say it's giving me quite the buz. I'm smoking Raspberry and I have some Passion fruit as well. I congratulate you on being able to give me a buz I haven't had for in awhile, I'm excited to try some of your other flavours, only time will tell!Jon
