Doubon
yea it probably will. nicotine combined with the pill raises your blood pressure dramatically. as to the effectiveness of the pill itself, I'm not sure

Thermo
I'm not even sure hookah is really 'smoking.' I suspect most of the 'smoke' in most of the major brands is really just vaporized glycerine (the same stuff they put in fog machines at Halloween parties) with flavoring added. The tobacco seems just to be there to provide some vaporized nicotine to the mix - I can't ever taste it at all. Those 'electronic cigarette' companies do something similar with vapor. They advertise like this: "That isn't smoke, folks. It's really a harmless vapor with nicotine and flavoring added to simulate the experience of smoking." cemab4y
Women who are on birth control pills are not to smoke at all. Smoking affects the circulation, this includes the flow of blood to the genitalia. Men who smoke, are more likely to experience erectile dysfunction. Furthermore, smoking affects the motility (swimming power) of sperm cells. Smoking also results in lower sperm production. Believe me, smoking has an adverse effect on human sexuality. Smokers have fewer children. If a woman smokes during pregnancy, the fetus will have a lower birth weight.More information can be obtained from the US public health service website. Tati
As per last threadNurse Tati says:Its the risk factors that you should be worried about. Birth control increases your risk of blood clots, and so do cigs. Since there isnt that much research on hookah and its effects on health, no one can tell you for sure what the effects will be.I smoke and Im on the pill. And I got no babies and no blood clots to show.So its more of a personal choice.
