Namenone
Hey,Ok finally Mr.shisha's package arrived! And we got a bowl of fantasia set up first! In a phunnel with 2 Golden Ql's, it was nice although a little heavy on the throat but not harsh, its hard to describe.Next we set up the Tangiers! Before we ordered this i was a little sceptical that it may not live up to its promise but WOW! this is the most amazing brand i have ever tried! Set up was a large glass phunnel and 3 coco's. The first pull had an amazing amount of smoke! We both smoked this for around 3 hours and the flavour was consistant throughout! We had enough of smoking, not because the flavour was out! But because we had done so much! A first! I would like to thank Eric for making such an amazing brand and getting everything right, the 250g bag was packed amazingly! He wasnt stingy like AF! Thank you so much for giving such an amazing experience with shisha and revitalising our hobby! We got Tangiers cocoa, blue gum ball(Lucid) and Kashmair(Lucid) peach. but only smoked coca!Blue gum ball does smell a little odd, although it is the Lucid line i have left it out for acclimating. The cocoa was amazing! Smoked straight from the packet! How long should i leave the Kashmair peach to accumilate for? it is not the Lucid line. And thank you once again Eric for the amazing flavours! and everyone on the forum, because without you, we would have not a clue on how to set it up! inino
it depends where you live. could take anywhere from 4 hours to a few days.
ilikemyusername
or, if you live in central florida, on the west coast, near the water you can leave it sitting out for 4 weeks and it will never smell like rasberry.
erufiku
Cocoa is mindblowing indeed
judgeposer
Welcome to the Tangiers bandwagon! It is worth the hype, IMHO. Acclimation will depend on your location, but really, I don't think you will need more than a half day - of course, be sure to spread the tobacco in a thin layer out on a cookie sheet or some such thing. The greater surface area exposed will decrease the need for an extended period of acclimation. Of the flavors you mention, in my experience BGB poses the most "problems," so it might require more acclimation than other flavors, like Kasmir Peach, which I find smoke-able quite soon after opening the package. TiLLooR
How long would it take for it to acclimatise in the UK? Im really really close to ordering me some of this stuff after i've read so much about it on this forum, bear in mind I want to get the Lucid line as i hear its the most hastle free and forgiving,

AzZ
Tangiers acclimates fine in the UK, mine was good straight out of the bag tbh but I did let it sit out for a bit.
the_cool
I've had Tangiers Lucid BGB, Brambleberry, K-Cherry, Cocoa, Passionfruit and Peach. Apart from BGB which just smells like soy sauce and tastes like soy sauce (even after acclimation!) and Brambleberry which smelt like nail varnish and now just has a nutty smell and taste after acclimation, the rest turned out fine without the need for acclimation. Im gonna try acclimating them again when the weather is sunny for a while. So I dunno take what you will from that, maybe I just had some dodgy batches or maybe Its hard to acclimate in the winter or maybe just hard to acclimate in the UK. Who knows....
Sonthert
Thank you. Just do we're on beam, there is no bandwagon. If you want a bandwagon, buy a pony. Its all about performance. If it works for you and you like it, do it, if you want it because its popular, try something else.

He says it doesn't work well in Lucid.
Canon
since ive really gotten into tangiers ive only bought about 500 grams of other shisha. (1 1/2 years)i love everything about tangiers, i love the tobacco taste that all tangiers has, and if you smoke it long enough then try some non tangiers you will know what i mean. the flavors are great on most of the flavors ive tried, there are a few which i dont like (sour, green apple and mint by itself) but the flavors are pretty much dead on with those flavors.eric, you have a good product and i cant wait to try your shanks once you have commercialized them.as far as acclimation goes, in the past year ive only acclimated tangiers a few times for about an hour. most of the time to get tangiers to smoke correctly you just need to pack the bowl right and have your heat management down (heat management is probably the hardest thing going from non tangiers to tangiers)
Stuie
side note... Blue Gumball will never seem to smell right at first until your realize what it's suppose to smell like. My wife hates it when I acclimate it cause she says it reminds her of medicine. But it tastes so freaking wonderful.
Namenone
BGB, the soy saucy smell has gone quite alot, is it worth trying? If i smell the whole tub while its open, it smells abit weird, but if i open one end and take a sniff, it does smell a little sweet and bubblegummy,

Boricua
Just smoke it, happened to me too. It does not smell appealing but that has nothing to do with its flavor
