I had Diane, my seamstress that makes to covers, make a cover that fits tighter. They turned out tighter than I expected. The first ones were made loose because that is how my previous hose covers were. I was a bit shocked when I saw how small she got these.
I kinda think something between the two sizes would look best but I want your opinions. We can always make them both ways. Edited by Scalliwag

When it comes to hose covers i like em to fit like a glove. It leaves less material to get caught under things and get dipped in thigs and all that. Basically i like the nammor style covers. Well to be more specific i really like the way KM ultimate hoses look. But Yes again tighter is better.

Tight looks like a professional product, loose looks like a DIY project.

The odd thing is that I see loose covers, at least removable ones, on retail hoses regularly. I'm not really sure why that is.

Like these? http://www.thehookah.com/hookafina-hose-and-sleeve.html

Never liked 'em.

I like the tighter one, not only do I think it looks more professional and classy but I think it draws more attention to the detail of the handle.

Tight looks better IMO....loose is good with handles far wider than the hose, and in the case of this monster hose, tight is just more pleasing.

edit: on closeup I love that material...it matches my couch smile.gif Edited by mustang_steve

For that material I'd say the tight just looks far better. For loose covers I'd say that a much thinner fabric is the ticket. At least that's what I usually use, mainly because it's a lot cheaper than nice fabrics like that.
